Hey nick, if you follow the instructions on the 711 sushi, theres is a way to pull the sleeve off between the rice and seaweed so you dont have to fold or roll at all.

The Onigiri you got at 7-11 actually has a tab at the top that you rip off and slide the wrapper out on each end, so you dont even need to move the nori. It stays wrapped around the rice and only gets into contact with the nori once you take the wrapper off.

@@jamesbanios9476 Yeah sure, thats what my dad and I thought too, go to Japan for a grand each and maybe 2 grand of food there, yeah with the hotel, meals, and trip to Kyoto, that 4,000 really quickly turned into 10,000. The restaurants he went to easily cost 400-3,000 each because there were 3 people, Don't get me wrong, the experience is an incredible once in a life time thing, but when the room service the night you get in cost 400 it gets a little pricey. Don't get me wrong though, there are tons of much cheaper places where you may not be able to eat the best sushi, but you will get to eat things like the best ramen, katsu, and yakatori, you won't get to have the special otoro, redsnapper, and the wagyu. Definitely still would recommend, Tokyo is the most beautiful city in the world by far even more so than Paris, Barcelona, NYC, LA, Zurich, etc. Its so clean, theres a beautiful garden on every block, most people are super respectful except for the racist old people, and the street life is amazing.

I saw Lynja's vlogs and they were a lot of fun! Its great to see your perspective now, its awesome how even the cheaper sushi at places like 7-11 are also really good for the price! It was also fun to see all the different sushi like the wagyu sushi and things you did while there but I wont spoil it for everyone else watching this video ;)

For the onigiri, there is a flap on the back that has the number 1 on it. You pull it down and it splits the plastic in half then you pull on the remaining plastic on the sides. The seaweed sticks to the rice after the plastic is pulled off.

Nick, I want to thank you for inspiring me to become a chef in my own way. Because of your KZfaq videos and watching you on MasterChef, I have learned to live my life and I even have a bucket list of foods to try in my life, many of them coming from your videos. So thank you, and keep inspiring us all.
