As a basejumper myself, I don't have it in me to jump in front of family, just in case something went wrong. Remember you can die on any BASE jump, even the 'easy' ones. Fairplay for doing it though, especially if it helps her understand why you do it.

I loved you mom's reaction! The view from where you launched was freakin scary! I would never be able to do that kind of jump. The adrenaline must get your heart pumping! I could never do that kind of jump, but I still would love to learn to Paramotor. I see you have lots of white walls in your new home. As it happens, I am an exceptional painter. Nice to see your family and you together like this. I could see your parents were having a great time, so I have to ask. When are they moving to Arizona? You didn't mention in the video, but if you didn't stick around at South Mountain until after dark, you need to take your folks back up there again. It has a beautiful view of all of the lights across the whole valley. Definitely worth the trip up there at night.

What i find odd is that folks walk around the desert dressed like they are at a tennis match or disneyland where there are no SNAKES laying around like landmines. Ive walked up to a rattlesnake not seeing it until it made noise but still was close enough to strike. I was so glad i got snake gaiters just in case as i almost made use of them that day. Another was laying in the path sunning itself and i almost stepped on that one as well.

Hi Tucker👋 It was great seeing how excited your Mom was as you landed right next to her👍🙂 Just a suggestion of a place that you might like to take your family is Organ Stop Pizza it is located at 1149 E. Southern Ave in Mesa. It's a pizza parlor that has been around there since I was a kid living there back in the 70's. They have a huge Wurlitzer pipe Organ which is pretty amazing and fun to listen to at no extra charge while you are enjoying your pizza. They open around 3:30 pm, it is cash only unless that has changed over the past few years since I have been there, but every thing has always been very reasonably priced. Just a suggestion if you haven't been there yet✌🙂

I don't think you would even need to buy anything there, to just go in and enjoy the music, if you ever felt like going back to check it out. It's probably not everyone's cup of tea, but the place does have some sentimental value to me, since I used to go there a lot with my family as a kid. I just wanted to make sure that you knew about the place✌

Tucker, welcome to my U.S. state (as you know I live in Australia, but in the US I live in Arizona). There is some fantastic hiking. Do yourself a favour and study the State history. Do yourself an even bigger favour and study the history of the Native Americans in Az and the Reservations. Get to the Grand Canyon! Btw Flagstaff is interesting. There is so much folklore in Az. The wildflowers last Spring were fantastic! Go to the Air museum in Tucson. Take your folks for a weekend in Bisbee, drink the local brew!

AMEN brother! I'm in MA, which is run by lunatics, yet, we still have some very limited freedom in that regard, especially in the more rural areas. The powers that be won't let us shop for firearms or ammo online (though a handful of places will take a chance and ship ammo, no chance in hell of getting a firearm that way), and they don't like the "scary" black guns, and banned them all. Also certain pistols like the Glock are unobtanium, except for law enforcement. Your only chance of owning one is buying a used one sold by a LEO. Absolute IDIOCY. Meanwhile, our southern border is wide friggin open with terrorists, rapists, child-traffickers, and God knows who else pouring unchecked into our neighborhoods every single day.The mindset of these idiots that write these laws is that of tyrants.
