Yeah exactly this is basically what the event does, the helicopter just hovers above you and drags all the zombies to you!

Yeah that would be a lot of fun however the usage of such a weapon would probably result in the same effect the helicopter has due to it being so loud!?

Start in Roosewood and search for the CXabin in the middle of the woods there are literal to no zombie and u can wait the event out

Yep there are tones of ways to avoid the helicopter event really, just find a way that you like and you can survive it 99% of the time!

Yeah it is actually really cool and works surprisingly well really, its a very impressive mod!! Have actually started using that mod in my regular playthroughs!

@@aloft_fox647 yeah that’s the downside though, I have a pretty beefy pc but mine was struggling slightly especially as I made the survivor rate up like 4x than usual!

Yeah played rust for 100 hours, it’s defiantly fun but pretty hard!

Yeah I’m glad you could feel the subtle hatred I have for the helicopter event :) But yeah I usually have the expanded helicopter events too and one that I’ll always remember is it flying overhead, not just going slow enough for zombies to not loose interest but blasting music across the entire map. Funny until its your house its hovering over!

@@Noughtical oh yeah I remember that one was blasting music too! It was at the end of my session, heard it and noped out of the game. Next time I logged in and everything seemed in order. I decided to use the mod to change my sandbox settings to up my xp rates by a little as it's my third character on this save and I could not be bothered to grind, then went out in the middle of the night super casually through some woods and fences for some supplies but on my way home I stumbled upon two of them, then some hanging around my base (Rosewood Fire depo) so took my shotgun and it was trippy, it was like they were spawning behind me in waves. Around 500 total, few even managed to break inside! I stopped playing as I assumed me messing with sandbox setting respawned all the zombies in the world, but if that is indeed just normal expanded helicopter music blasting event then I will get back to it, sure I will spend the next 5 hours clearing my yard, but I will have easier time elsewhere. If it just added 1000 zeds on top of everything though I might just start a new game.

Yeah exactly, overall though I do enjoy expanded helicopter events as they add some later game content which just spices up what could be a boring part of the game!!

@@Noughtical I will see how I feel about it, as for now I came back to my save, cleared my neighborhood, secured a drop and then... another series of helicopter events! Been cleaning the same streets again for past 2 hours. I quess it's good reason to finally build some fences, so in that aspect it's more engaging. I'm really hjoping it just draws zeds from huge distance instead of spawning fresh ones. They are in already cleaned buildings, in the forests, in the field, very spread out. That one is on me though as I disabled zombie grouping so they are evenly spread instead, I quess I gave them no choice. The more I play the more I apprecieate default settings, it's clearly a very fine balance act and even small changes can have big effect over the course of in game months.

Yeah its a very incredible game when it comes the default settings and also how drastic when you change a setting the impact it can have is amazing isn’t it!?

Yeah that is true I was trying to get a big horde mod to work but sadly it was way to tanky on performance!

Yes he mentioned in other comments it is superb survivors. There is also "continued superb survivors" which is a little better

​@@Greenhead24the npcs are janky glitchy and they will make bases out of houses and other structures but they usually die by getting eaten for running into a group or sum pretty fun though
