The only use I could see for that "thing" would be put a mower deck on it for Mason to mow the lawn so he won't get stuck.. Its has reached the end of its useful life it made Kevin smile the end.

I’ve got a 1985 Custom Delux that I removed the V6 and replaced with a rebuilt 350. Great truck for rural living here in New Zealand. I use it for moving stuff and just as a general hack. Had people chase me to buy it but not interested in selling, it’s just a great truck. Yup I’m a Ford man but can’t beat the reliability of this old Chev.

I've just watched one of your videos where you fixed a hydraulic leak on a dozer and stripped down a hummers drive. All I could smell was hydraulic oil. Took me right back to when I was repairing plant. I'm retired now but when I watch your vids it seems like last week. Using the winch to back up the truck to pull the front chains tight is such a pro move. I would have never thought to do that.

It's pretty cool how the back roads in nearly every small town look about the same. The drive back to the shop from where you loaded up could easily have been any back road in upstate South Carolina. Look at some of the videos on Upstate Brush Control's channel for a comparison.

people would practice breaking into colums, they would go to the Upick and where the Key's body ended at the point on the column they would wack with a ball peen hammer, that opened the rack up and they slid the rack with a screwdriver and away they go

Edison kit! Put the nice cab on the monster with a new flatbed you'll have the ultimate hybrid shop truck!

Clean it up. 4to 6”lift. 35” tires. That truck has great potential.

A couple of buckets of bondo and a dash board cover and it could be a sweet ride.

a set of vortec heads, big cam, and 11-1 compression, you should good for 600-650 horse.!

I think you should keep it all factory rebuild the the engine in the transmission, body paint it and keep it or maybe give it away or donate it to a charity of some sorts.

When I was in high school I saw a basically new one of those parked on a hill without the parking brake engaged. It popped out of gear and found a tree.

If you are looking at the Edison way of doing things.... You should look to expand that into your other stuff. Start with modifying drive train of big machines with the hybrid system. Then may be nove onto replacing all the hydraulic actuators with linear electric actuators... Removing issues with pipes and fluid. You could keep old stuff going, still work with engines, but use the electric where best. Drive and actuators. Saving fuel. Being more reliable. Also use the battery weight as advantage.... Replace counter weight with battery... Making it easy to replace. Weight on a Dozer is often useful. The oil tank can be replaced with the battery. Hybrid works well for all this stuff... With retrofit being much better for the environment and keeping your business going into the future while adding to it.... But you already thought of all this and more I'm sure. Good luck.
