Amazing! I just bought my 95 Sidekick JLX two years ago, only 91,000 miles on her 😍 Best car I’ve ever had the pleasure owning
@jrwheeler812 жыл бұрын
This brings back soooooo many memories! My very first car ever was a 1996 Suzuki Sidekick JLX, the hard top 4-door model. It was candy apple red and it was my baby for many years. I got it for my 16th birthday in 1997. It was the car that I passed my driver's test in. It was also the car that I first met my now husband in when I was 18 and went on so many adventures in. I had that car for 10 years. I finally sold it in 2007 after my husband and I bought a brand new Jeep and really had no need for the Sidekick any longer. It had almost 200k miles on it and still ran great. It was such a reliable vehicle. Never had any problems with it. I remember way back in the early and mid 2000s when we could fill up the gas tank on just $20 and wouldn't need to fill up again for well over a week. You just don't see these little SUVs around anymore. It's probably been well over 10 years since I've seen one on the road. Almost 15 years after I sold it, I still sometimes feel nostalgic for my first car.

I've seen a lot of sponsored videos, but I think this one's the best just because of how happy you are with the company and how it shows and how much you wrap them instead of just one little segment in the beginning where you rep the company and then you never hear about it again, but you rep the company like two or three times in different segments automatically not svrioredyand the excitement in your happiness with the product shows.

Those were used a lot as tow behinds for large RVs, especially in the late 80’s and ‘90’s. That would also explain the decals on the sides that matched the RV towing it. Also the manual hubs for better flat tow-ability, especially since yours is an automatic transmission. If you look under the front bumper there are probably provisions for a tow bar as well.

Then after like 230,000 it started blowing head gaskets. Plus it was having a nice round of smoke out the tail pipe. As for the back door. The grease in mine was hardened. A quick removal of the back door panel. Easy access to remove the latch and re-grease. After that my back door open and closed like a champ.

I say throw a nice Thermal Research exhaust and stainless header on it, maybe a brand name cold air intake (not a cheap eBay or self-fabricated intake), clean it up, put some more aggressive tires on it, and rock it. It's a really good looking vehicle for an older Suzuki. I'm not saying that I would rice it up, I'm saying to put brand name well fabricated parts on it. Every vehicle that I have I modify them to make them my own, but I HATE using cheap eBay parts. Small things like dress up bolts and washers are OK, but using cheap engine parts like an eBay exhaust, suspension components, or a cold air intake is not worth the money that you save over brand name parts.
