You did great for riding after just 30 minutes.I started off with a Sherman max & it took me a few 30min sessions by the third day I was questioning my financial decision. But I continued & finally it just clicked. Now I’m up to my 3rd wheel my most current & fastest one is the Begode EX30 🤙

Congrats man. Very fun hobby. I cannot stand people that tell others what they should and shouldn't do. I'm glad you went straight into something you feel you won't outgrow soon. @@MilesDeep haha that sound about right. New wheels are coming out by the month. That why I opted for a wheel with multiple iterations. Figure that means they’re more invested which mean more access to parts. I’m loving my master too. It’s been a great city commuter wheel for me.

I got a Begode master as my first wheel, too. I started riding October 2022. Best decision ever. People said I would give up before I actually learned to ride, because it'd be too difficult...no. I have already caught air, and hit 4-stairs....rolled down, and gapped the stairs, and dropped-down. You picked it up quicker than I did--but you have unicycle experience... I just had 20+ yrs of skateboarding. lol Keep up the great work, man. It's a lot of fun in Austin, Tx, but I could only image Florida would be a blast. I plan on going to South Florida with it, eventually, so I can ride around areas like Boyton Beach & Del Ray...I bet it'd be a blast.

Figure out your favorite foot stance, stay away from curbs that are parallel to you and don’t try to go up a curb by turning at the curb hit it straight on point is watch your peddle clearance (ok?). Work on your worst side where you have least comfort turning in that direction. Do figure eights. Stay away from pedestrians for 300 miles. Do a speed run and leave room for a hard stop and plan on wobbles turn a bit while you stop if it makes the wobble go away. Just plan on turning most of the time to avoid bad situations not stopping because well no brakes.

It took me 3 to 4 days to be confident enough to use my euc for commute and 2 months to feel good enough when doing a one leg start and stop. Your 30min progression is nowhere close to what I had to go through, it took me multiple hours to get to your 30minutes result, I guess that having unicycle experience really helps a lot. Always keep bent knees, you hit a bump with straight leg, you go down instantly...starting and stopping is the most important thing to learn, especially stopping really quick under sudden circumstances... PS if riding next to a body of water like you did, should use a tether/lanyard...

That’s pretty cool. I don’t think I’ve seen one, just bikes. Good to see you adjust to it after approximately 45 minutes. The start and full stop would get the best of me and probably would break some. Hearing the fresh tire on the pavement is always music to my ears. Cool that you printed fairings and fender for it; also, can the lights be adjusted like a vehicle? I noticed when you are coming up on a curve, that the lights have a narrow beam. Just curious if the beam can be widened? Either that or have a headlamp that can provide more light. Seeing it from the video, I couldn’t tell if you have adequate light to right in dark areas.
