It's kind of interesting. In the ATC tower near my work, when we were given a tour, I noticed a drone detector. When I enquired about it, I was told that it was to detect drones within X KM of the airfield. I imagine that if needed, there would be a way to identify the serial numbers of each individual drone and review their registration (including DJI accounts). I heard of a story of someone who flew within the restricted airspace and had Milipol show up at his house to give him a talk. Where I live, I usually cannot fly during weekdays as I do not want my drone to be eaten by an F35. In my Country, it is definitely worth registering your drones with CASA, getting accredited and learning about airspace. Happy flying.

You nailed it. The DJI Avata is a fun drone. I got it when it was first released and I am still having a blast with it. It’s perfect for those that want to try FPV but also want the safety features that DJI provides. Cool video 👍. I wish you all the best in 2024 ✌️😎.

How they got your number the mini dont need to registered

Hi i hope you see my message im from kissimmee fl i have a mini 2 but cant find where to fly it reason for is restricted area cause the planes any advice where can i go fly it i have this drone for over 1 year and still haven't hot it in the air

You know that the rules of the faa about flying over people or people's properties is ridiculous how about helicopter planes flying over us or our houses make no sense

So what were your violations that they were concerned with?

They called me and left the same message. I called right back. We talked and they told me what I did wrong. The person was nice about it and i of course did not argue etc. She emailed me afterword's a follow up to the call

Always keep bent knees, you hit a bump with straight leg, you go down instantly...starting and stopping is the most important thing to learn, especially stopping really quick under sudden circumstances... PS if riding next to a body of water like you did, should use a tether/lanyard...

Ngl unless you are flying near an airport. Makes no sense why we need the government in our ass about a high end toy… the FAA should only be concerned about actual aircraft not people minding there own business…

I am looking to get my part 107 license now because even though i'm not using my drones to make money, and just using it as a hobbiest, it gets me concerned where I can fly my drone now. I have flown my drone on my property but we have a cellular tower here so that messes up my compass calibration so I have to fly elsewhere, and being a recreational flyer, if you go to a public place and there are a lot of people in the area, you cant fly your drone anyway, cause that would be an operations over people violation I do believe. Guess I better take the test so I have some peace of mind.

Live in uk then we can't do shit ,law don't want us to have drones so make rules bullshit.

A big change from the drone videos, but equally as enjoyable to watch. And I think this is the longest video you've ever posted. You've really come a long way on the EUC and seem really comfortable riding it. You mentioned getting a bell to alert people that you're coming up behind them, which would probably be a really good idea, simply because people don't seem to hear you. You need something like an air horn lol. I presume you fully charge the EUC for a ride like this one, but how long does a full charge actually last?

I was a small airplane pilot years ago almost 2 decades ago. I know NOTHING about Drones they didn't exist when I flew a Cessna. I No Joke Really dreamed on 6-25-23 I went down and saw the wreck of the titanic 2-1/2 MILES DEEP. Then the wreck & 2nd sub wreck vanished as the same floor got white like daylight. I'm not making this up.

I started with a V5f.Took me about 30 min to get the hang of ridding it.....2 weeks later I started looking for bigger/faster wheel. I myself got the master and at the time was the fastest EUC on the market. I have had it almost a year now and it is an amazing machine. Congratz on the new wheel and great job picking it up.

You’re gonna want to get those pads printed in TPU. Hard plastic pads = no good.
