7:39 for the people that have somehow never looked at a Beckett slab, HE ISN'T TRIMMING THE CARD. It's the sealed penny sleeve Beckett uses before slabbing the cards.

@@ugghhhyoutubeisawful646 nah, I was just being as ass. Not everyone knows bc they're the only ones who do it. the reality is it shouldn't be uncommon bc all these companies should be doing it to protect the card if it bangs around in the slab or the slab cracks.

What was the card cleaner doing with the scissors? Did he cut the card? I haven't seen that before.

I dont do baseball but i do football and basketball. Something i need to learn is to hold cards when i think the player will do well to maximize my profits. Im always just taking profits when i can but i need to hold a few back.

I really like the content. I do a very similar buy and sell method primarily with football cards. I’m selling now and I buy at the end of the season. That seems to be your logic with all sports which makes sense obviously. Now are you concerned at all about like the broader economy having issues in the next few months and that possibly hindering your profits on the normal jump you would get on these buys selling into the start of next baseball season?

Nah people in sports cards are usually well off. Economic ups n downs doesnt effect the market as much as you would think.

Man cool video. First time seeing you. And I know i haven’t followed baseball close since 90s maybe early 2000s. But I know nothing has changed as far as “sure things” in prospects in minors lol. I love to gamble more than anyone but plz don’t get to confident in “sure things” know it’s a gamble. Enjoy cards man. I’m just getting back into card collecting though mostly football. Some baseball and nba.

@ericmichaelmlp I went to the show all 4 days most of the dealers who had expensive cards were delusional 800$ cards for 3k and didn't use comps 8k for 30k etc I barely got a card I wanted

Did he seriously just trim a 30k card😮 now it's going to get an authentic. I've never seen someone actually trim a card before...crazy 30k down to 1500...everyone just witnessed it being cut. I wouldn't pay top dollar for that now. But that's just me
