I found a lonely Asian Forest Scorpion at my local pet shop living an awful life. So I gave myself a budget of $500 to build that scorpion his dream home! I built all sorts of technology including an insect dispenser that'll literally feed live juicy prey to the scorpion!

Nice first terrarium for the scorpion. Though it needs to be bigger because there isn't that much walking space. That said, most terrarium/vivarium/aquarium scapers upgrade their tanks every now and then. You've got a new subscriber!

True story When I was at the rotc camp I saw a group of people circle around and staring at something, and that something turn out to be some dude catching a big ass wild Asian forest scorpion with his bare hand lol. Bro literally put his rifle aside and deside that that day is the day he is going to become a pokemon trainer.

Asian forest scorpions are harmless. As a quick reference you can check the pincers. If they're large and the tail is relatively weak looking, the venom is weak. If the pincers look like thin tweezers but the tail is very sturdy... don't touch.

You can start with a bioactive local terrarium. Just get a terrarium (even a big jar works) and fill it with local plants, dirt, isopods etc. and give it a light. Very low cost and still fun. You can learn a ton from the ecosystem and looking after it. If it should die, you can simply get new plants and new dirt from outside.
