Building an art project can be challenging, even more so at Burning Man. Here is my step by step process of bringing art to the Playa and the perspective of the behind the scenes of the work and joy behind the spectacle in the desert.
This episode has been a labor of love for a few months now. As most of the projects I do. If you randomly find yourself here, you're not wasting your time. "Burning Man" is the password to life, if you know where to find the question.

Josh, I've watched this video an almost embarrassing number of times. Last year (2017) was the worst year of my life and likely that of many of my family. I lost 4 people very close to me including my Mother who meant everything to me and my kids. I almost always wear my heart on my sleeve but I'm certainly not the guy who typically gets emotional on a KZfaq comment. I just want to thank you for producing this video as well as your others but this one is pretty damn special. The imagery and words you used spoke deeply to me. I'm still working through the difficulties of the past year but your content has honestly helped put a smile on my face in hard times. Your spirit is contagious. Thanks.... and please let me know the next time you need some capital for a project. I likely don't meet the criteria of the 20%ers but to be able to say I was even a small contribution would be amazing. I just may look into some flights to Burning Man this year as I have some things I'd like to offer up to those I miss so dearly.

"To remind you that you're human". It reminds me of a document I made a few years ago. I went out and asked 100 strangers the same question, and compiled their answers. From their answer, you can see if they are currently happy or sad, anxious or depressed, if they recently got into a relationship or recently broke up with their significant other. You can learn what the person’s hobbies are, or what they enjoy doing and accomplishing in life. From some answers, you can even figure out how their parents treat them. While some answers are simply what that individual longs for in life. I think that's extremely unique and beautiful knowledge to have, from someone who's a total stranger to you. The question was "What is happiness to you?", and the document with all the answers is quite beautiful. If you'd like to experience it, I'd love to share it with you.

What you offer in this video that was so valuable to me was the perspective about the need to overcome your personal insecurities about being under qualified and realizing that everyone is under qualified until they do it for the first time.
