just my room was so hard to do, especially as my bed is raised and I did it before loft beds were added but even with loft beds, my bed is more waist high so I just have a floating bed in the sims

In the Sims 2 I did a bunch of the houses I lived in growing up. I’ve tried to do 2 in the sims4, one I got it done okay, but the second is unfinished and looks like a scary shell challenge!

Same 😅 My work room is often so messy that I can't even use it! Otherwise, I'll have to gather the strength/motivation to clean it up before starting to work and that's too many steps on most days. I could use the "I'm an artist" excuse, but no it's just bad 😆

Instead of painting the drawers, you could also look into putting contact paper on them. It's a little more seamless and is pretty easy

I love building my real-life spaces in game! I have a save file for my sim self and Newcrest is just different apartments and places I've lived. Kind of like a lil diary, it's cute to be able to go in and revisit those spaces and memories

I tried to build my office in the Sims once so I could rearrange it and decide if I liked it before actually moving my heavy desk. I gave up after two hours of “but the scale is so off!” The half tile walls would help so much!!

I work with Herman Miller almost every day. They have a tendency of getting orders messed up. Usually you don't the item on time or its wrong so you are super lucky with getting two correct ones!

Emailed the company asking for a return address to send one back but they told me to keep the duplicate, so I did :) One I wear on a necklace around my neck and the other is in a little box of treasures that I'll probably pass on go my daughter when she's older

I feel like the biggest improvement I would love to see in BB is being able to build walls on the half tile instead of snapping to the full tile. So frustrating sometimes!

Same! I also used to move my furniture around in my room as a kid! That was probably influenced by the sims and having a creative eye . Now as an adult, I've learned that I love interior decorating and I still adore building in the sims. :)

My workplace had a deal with herman miller so us employees could buy the chairs at a discount for WFH (because we use HM chairs at the office). I bought the cheapest one (~$200) and over a year later it's still one of my favorite quarantine purchases!

About the resizing of the game console, if you get the TOOL mod, you can scale items very easily to a custom size. I’d also love to see you play around with windows in apartments with the mod now too, since TOOL works in build mode now too. Plus better build buy works without flagging items as CC on the gallery now. Be nice to see you try these mods out again :)

Speakint of double delivery. When my fam first rented a house in Australia, we bought furniture for the entire house (ikea). It came in 2 separate deliveries - heavy stuff and light-weight. For some reason, we got 2 deliveries...of the light-weight. As in, x2 pillows, x2 blankets, x2 rug, x2 lamps and side-tables...we still don't know what to do with the extra so its just in the garage lol.

I ordered two nice grey fluffy area rugs on Amazon, like 70$ a piece. They came and they were smaller than I originally thought and it wasn't enough to cover the space I was trying to cover, I needed two more. Two days later two more got delivered because amazon thought I didn't get the first package for some reason. I didn't get charged for them :)

@@plant5875 Short term fans wouldn't be able to find anything. Long term fans could though. She's already had some small issues with things like revealing her flight plan before and people found out where she was. You'd be amazed by how many creepy stalker fans there are in the world... For instance, long term fans already knew how her desk looks and the chair story and have seen her build this room before.

When our current house was being built, I created it on the Sims using the blueprints, and YES - GIVE US BUILDING ACCESS ON HALF AND QUARTER TILES. So annoying when you can’t build exact haha. Anyways it was fun to then create my family and “live” in the house before it was even finished being built. ❤️ so fun!
