It’s beautiful!! From KLR to DRZ and now this. You have taken each bike to it’s limit and moved on. You NEED this. Also, those who have ridden with you know you are exceedingly humble, so much so you are probably embarrassed by this.

Yeah I just did this on my bike, engine was in pieces for 2 weeks.. was nerve wracking hitting that starter for the first time 😅

I had the opportunity to ride with everide. And on that trip his electric start/electric start button stopped working so he had to do a lot of kickstarting 😂

I still don't have any desire to be a dirt biker again after all these years (I'm 61). But I enjoy the KLR on gravel roads and mild double track... You have left behind the roots of your channel that originally attracted me .. but that's okay. I enjoy watching your progression through motorcycling. And the scenery of Utah is unbeatable.

Beautiful bike! I can now say that Throwing a leg over the KTM 300 after riding the DRZ400 is AMAZING! The weight is a big change. Brakes and throttle that are so crisp.

I did the same thing myself for my 14 year old son's new bike. The little xt225 needed just about everything replace after sitting in a barn for 15 years. Thank's for the inspiration I love your videos, will have to come ride with you sometime.

I love this vid, I feel your pride and satisfaction in the build. I love to sit back and look at anything I’ve fixed, build or rebuilt for hours on end, usually with a scotch and a couple of cigarettes. I’ve rebuilt a stolen recovered repairable write-off TE510 looks new and a blown up PW50 for my little girl. Also looks new. Want to build a KTM 300 EXC next. So I can get full registration on it to ride on the road too just from home to close tracks without police annoying me.

My poor 1190r sat perched on its stand for months ,dripping forks,sagging chain, old oil,etc... and now, thanks to Coronavirus, all that’s left is to find a new (ish) back tire...to walk out and see no leaks is priceless. As always, enjoyed your video.thanks

Sweet. I just finished similar work on a motorcycle today. I missed our riding season here in the desert but thats ok. I went for a short ride today and mercy, i still have the smile on my face. Yes it was expensive and yes it took much, much longer than if i paid to have it done but yeah, it was worth it. In other words i get it. It is my drug of choice. There is nothing like hitting that button and hearing all of the hard fought blood, sweat, and tears come to life. What a rush. Have fun and be safe.

Congratulations on a job well done. I stumbled upon your channel a while back. I have a 99 KX250 which needs a bit of TLC, beat her up over the years. Because of you, Tyler and a few other guys, I picked up a DRZ400S which I have grown to love. Its opened up a whole new chapter in my life, Thanks to you. I have to admit, I think I'll put the TLC into my old KX, and fix her up. I really prefer the KX on single track. Thank you, again. You have a special way of motivating people. Keep it up.

You can still get cheap dirt bikes and fix them up! I got an '03 KTM 300 for $1000 but it needed a lot of work. After rebuilding the whole motor, getting new wheels, new plastics, and rebuilding a few other components the total cost ended up being like $4000 for basically a brand new bike

Good for you brother.. I build every bike I have ever had since I was a kid.. my 300 was clapped out junk.. I got for around 5 grand ..she was my dream build best of everything by the time she was finally finished was over 20 grand no lie.. but was the most amazing bike I ever built..she is number 43.. I am 51 years old and have a motorcycle addiction I love them..but there is nothing more satisfying then doing it all yourself and learning everything about your bike and set up and the reasons you choose the parts you do ..everything had a function and she was basically brand new and a lot better I didn’t build her just to look at .. I rode the crap out of her but I am a maintenance freak..I build bikes for lots of people I love the satisfaction of the end product knowledge of everything about that machine also is an amazing feeling..I set up bikes for guys who race.. best thing my father ever did for me was teaching me how to do my first motor job and that was it I was hooked for life it was the best gift ever.. motorcycles have done so much for me in my life.. l really am happy for you getting to experience building a bike that is a hot mess and turning it into a amazing machine it just plain awesome..I did mine over 2 yrs of saving $ for parts then buy more then earn more money then buy more parts..had other bikes to ride so I just took my time on her.. so congratulations on your project she looks great !

SPARTA!!!! Love it! Megsbrap has helped me learn how to ride too. I have been watching your channel for awhile, way before I bought my first dirt bike last month. I have loved how you have progressed. Your videos and the videos on the dirt bike I purchased finally got me to take a chance and go from a want to be adventure rider to an offroad dirt bike rider. I have a Kawasaki 300r that I bought new. I know not budget friendly being that it's new, but it's not a 10000 dollar new bike. I have looked at your website and if the old lady approves I will be on one of the rides soon. I'll be watching the vids and might be seeing ya soon. Good luck and always keep your head up and the rubber side down.

Budget builds are great and all, but in reality I enjoy your content in general. Kinda like how Top Gear would cover everything from multimillion dollar cars to the cheapest everyday drivers. It's all enjoyable.

Nice! I bought my first 2 stroke about 6 years ago and haven't gone back. I eventually sold the DRZ because it got used so little after that. Welcome to the 2t Hard Enduro world!!!

That's funny ! I just completed a similar build on my 2014 300 XCW six days. I bought it brand new in 2014, and have since put it through 6000 miles of hell ! New crankshaft, all bearings, seals, piston, plastics, chain and sprockets, original six days graphics and a host of other new parts! I too am hesitant to go get her dirty again because she looks soooo gooood !
