Greetings Automotive Enthusiasts!
I make a 2k mile round trip adventure to buy 2 awesome RAD Convertibles! The 88 Saab 900 Turbo Convertible and the 89 Corvette Convertible could not be more different in design concept but are both equally awesome in their own way! Ride along for part 2 of this EPIC Tales from the Trip!

I worked for a dealership down under that sold Alfa, Ferrari, SAAB, Citroen and Porsche. Fun fact? The first 900 Turbo's would all come back again and again to replace the turbo's. The owners had no idea back then about on boost and quick shut off. Oh my! And damn they handled awful but kinda looked ok....... Sort of.

As a Finn I have to say proudly that Saab 900 Cabriolet was manufactured only in Finland at Valmet Automotive and it was also designed in Finland. Idea for cabriolet version came from Robert J. Sinclair who at the time was chief executive officer of Saab-Scania of America.

Take care in the USA Bob! And when you see Tyler next say hi from me and congratulations to his new partner and the lucky boy. I really thought he'd go under for a while but his new love has certainly appeared to made the tall slim one ever so happy again. Awwww.... And tell the Wizard to get into shape!! He's far too old to die young. Mmmm Donuts. ;-))
