It really does lighten up the mood, sometimes we all take ourselves too seriously and need to find some humor in ourselves, in our backrounds, cultures, etc. We really arent that different when we get down to it. we all deal with misconceptions or even fear from each other sometimes

Emmanuelle Chriqui - she is actually JEWISH in real life, playing a Palestine in the movie. She is very active in the Jewish community and staunchly against HAMAS, but she advocates that not all Palestinians are Hamas, but that Hamas has got to go NOW.

Both sides consider each other to be terrorists though. To many palestinians, idf are war criminals and imperalist oppressers, especially under Netanyahu, and its groups like hamas who are the only kind of defence they have, for better or worse

Not really. The whole point is that Zohan doesnt want to be like everyone else in Israel and fight, he wants to follow his own dreams and that includes loving who he wants to, even if they are palestininan. Trying to understand one another. Something people arent doing
