That lake at the beginning (it's called Kluane Lake) and the stream you went past going around it are both fed by a massive glacier that was literally 3 miles into the mountains to your left.

Currently a driver with online and met dave once on the road. Love the video's. Currently in colarado springs exploring the mountains. Wish i was in a car vs bob tail. But these vidios got me wanting to take off for 3 months to explore the usa and surrounding areas

Congratulations Dave. Did you notice you were the only CAR as you got closer to the Alaska border? Only a van, RV's, and a bear. I had a year ? Ford Escort, front wheel drive, many many moons ago, someone over filled the oil, I guess it caused excess oil pressure and caused the rear main engine oil seal to start leaking. I had to remove the engine from the car to replace the oil seal. Please don't over fill the oil my friend. Thanks for sharing! As always, Looking forward to your next video.

There's actually a very small population of snakes in AK, such as garter snakes.

Theres so many places I would love to recommend you to go as lifelong Alaskan. Theres some awesome places you can go to see that locals know more about like Hiking the Butte or certain trails that lead to wonderful views like the Thunderbird Falls trails.
