Same I made it to diamond two with swordsoul and went on a terrible lose streak game after game getting crucially negated

I got to Plat 1 and was on my rank up. And get bricked like 6 times in a row. I only run 4 tribute summons and would open with 3 of them every time 😂

In my case, it is diamond 2 and then 20 games in a row I would either -Win a coin toss and get unplayable hand -Lose coin toss and open 0 interuption or board breaker -Win coin toss and have only 1 playable line involving using handtrap to make play but opponent will open every handtrap known to mankind. Needless to say, I lose them all and now I'm back to diamond 5

I feel y’all, I got deranked from diamond 3 to diamond 4 and almost deranked to diamond 5 and lost all the coin tosses in the processes, I was mad af lol opponents literally had everything and I was opening no handtraps or if I did it was like a veiler or maxx c which would always get hit with called by or ash smh

I got called by so often on master 5, I am gonna need some lube for that nasty finger...

This is the state of yugioh... I love the game, but I love playing older decks or bad modern decks, bad = old or fairly balanced. If I wanted to play solitaire I'd just play solitaire.

I think I win more games going second than going first, the other day some guy on Dark World thought they could just Ido lock me without covering the thing from attacking and I just blew up their board with Evenly Matched after baiting out their discard substitution effect. Seriously, just play a go second deck with a bunch of board wipes if you're tired of relying on coin flips to set up pitiful combo endboards.

I'm not sure which part you're specifically asking for help with, so I'll go over p much everything you need to know about her, a'ight? c: The third effect of Iblee says "If this card in its owner's control is sent to the GY: You can Special Summon this card to your opponent's field in Defense Position". This can be triggered by her being destroyed by battle or card effect, being sent to the graveyard from field as a cost/tribute for something, or as material for an ED monster (most likely a Link monster). The reason I say "most likely a Link monster" is because her second effect says "You cannot Special Summon monsters, except Link Monsters". This is also the REASON you send her to your opponent's field in the first place, she locks the player who controls her out of special summons unless they can get her off the field by swinging her into something, using her as cost for something, or using her as tribute/link material.This, combined with an Extra Link like what Coder is trying to do here, creates a complete special summon lock since if you set up an extra link, your opponent cannot link summon, which is the most practical way to get rid of Iblee to enable your special summons again since it's the only special summon she allows. @@ProtoHelio1 so basically iblee works like a barrier statue, but strictly for ED monsters is what you're saying?

She locks ALL special summons except for Links. So for instance, if you have Iblee on the field...what's an easily recognizable example...Cyber Dragon that's a good one. You wouldn't be able to use it's effect to special summon it from hand, but you COULD use Iblee to tribute summon it to get rid of her, or go to battle, swing her into your opponents weakest monster (she has 0 atk) to have her die by battle, then combo off in Main 2. She just has a lot of outs and generally isn't used very often, but sees use in Extra Link strategies because without tributing her for something, she locks you out of all specials since the only special summon she allows is Link summons, but Extra Linking closes both Extra Monster Zones so you can't link summon either.
