Rimworld really does dish out some batshit events sometimes. I legit had a colonist get their nose bit off by a manhunter guinea pig. The person was not laying on the ground, they were standing upright. We had guinea pigs for about 12 years of my life, and though they're deceptively athletic, I have never met a guinea pig capable of a 5-foot vertical leap to bite someone's face. As soon as that popup came up on my screen, I just burst out laughing. The image it gave me was basically that rabbit from Monty Python yeeting itself at a guy's head to kill him. Like, there's suspension of disbelief, and then there's outright lunacy

I kinda did one the things you ended up doing, in a regular Rimworld campaign. Somewhat early in my campaign, a large amount of toxic waste packs just fell from the sky. Since I could not store them permanently anywhere (I did not have a big enough freezer). My solution was to load all the toxic waste onto a caravan with Rhinos as pack animals. I would then just go visit a hostile tribe, quickly dump all the waste and immediately run away. Turns out this causes a massive enemy raid to happen later in the game. Apparently people do not like to wake up and find 500 kilograms of nuclear waste on their back yard :D

19:30 I feel like you accidentally created a critical raid event where some raiders take a nuke outside your colony and prepare to launch it into your settlement, so you are forced to go out and kill them before they destroy your base. The leeway would be the raiders perform a ceremony, before mercy killing you all for the sake of filth.
