Hello Alina. What a delight to have found your channel today. You have a gentle, charming way about you, backed by an obvious strength. I can't believe it was 29 years ago that I was blessed with opportunity [with Children of the World] to work with educators in different towns/cities in your country, Lviv and Kiev being two. Each area had it's own beauty, including the view out the windows of the bus we rode across the Carpithian mountains.What a beautiful country God provided the people of Ukraine. However, the most memorable part of the two weeks were the hearts of the people I met. They were so generous with their words, kindness, and acceptance! There was an "in-country' team that worked with us on set-up, technology, translating, and getting around. To this day I pray for them, as I came to love them. And to this day my heart breaks at the devastation and losses that have been put upon the people and land of Ukraine. I do not understand such hatred. It is not what my God intended for mankind. How wonderful tha He sacrificed his only son, Jesus Christ, as the lamb to take on the sins of us who repent & have Him live through us. Alina, you have a hard lifestyle but you appear to make the best of it and have a peace. May Jesus rule in the hearts of your people, as they seek & serve Him. Happy 50th year, Alexy M!

This makes me so hungry. My Grandmother was from the Carpathians and used to make me Borsch when I was a kid. I absolutely love your outdoor cook setup! That is the coolest fry pan ever! 💙💛👍

When I was younger I worked with a woman from Lithuania and she brought me some homemade borsch. It was heavenly. It's difficult to find such ethnic foods in the United States.
