I scratched around there and the clay was only half an inch below that layer so most anything that was there was exposed! Not to say I didnt miss anything though

Thats unbelievable man! Damn. Im in upstate sc and have struggled finding points lol. Ive found my first few this past year but I grew up here and it was Cherokee land for 4000+ years lol. I struggle the most finding campsites to hunt and am watching your guide rn lol
@eastcoastlithics13982 ай бұрын
I hope it helps ya out! Ive had a lot of success using tips from that vid. That land before the cherokee was the guilford peoples along with the savanna river people, and then before them you have early archaic hunters and BEFORE THEM you have paleo. People have been hangin out in SC for 12,000 years. I know there are some good sites out there for ya man! Keep alookin 🫵🏻😎

It was a “stage cache” I found the basic preform all the way up to a finished blade (off camera)

Buddy I wish to god I could have a place like that where it’s just sand and it just washes up all easy. I dig a mile back into the dirt and find 2-3 😭😭😭 nice finds

Well I no longer have that place either- its under 7 feet of water 😂

I love plowing our fields in arkansas. We find 20-30 a year just riding around the tractors. We've got a couple mounds and an old well beside one of our natural springs we used to play on as kids
@eastcoastlithics13984 ай бұрын
Sounds like you're in a pretty sweet area! That place around the spring must be loaded.

I do enjoy your video footage.. but just a word to the wise.. be mindful of Mother Earth and these sites..you should always ask permission when removing ANYTHING.. walk lightly upon her🌏be responsible and respectful... 😊
