I crashed an Ethiopian wedding in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. In this Ethiopia travel vlog I attended a wedding in Ethiopia. Thanks to @mahletsun for inviting us to her brother's special Ethiopia wedding. We showed up a bit underdressed but were still embraced by all the lovely Ethiopian people. We ate some delicious Ethiopian food such as Doro Wat and even raw meat. We danced some traditional Ethiopia dance called Eskista. We experienced the people, food and culture at the beautiful traditional Ethiopia wedding. I crashed a very special wedding in Ethiopia.

I visited Ethiopia back in the 1994 with my parents. We stayed in Ras Hotel for one month and 1 year 7 months in Kaliti and Akaki. I was too young but that wedding song I can’t just forget! Amazing 😀

I am Ethiopian I have never tried it raw meat before just don’t like it but I love sushi I think it’s similar sushi they drink with rice wine and Ethiopian they drink it with honey wine… Ethiopian-Adal War, also known historically, started eating raw beef to avoid being spotted by the enemy.

Yes Ethiopians eat raw meat with different hot spices, I guess its better than eating lobster 🦞 or frog 🐸 leg 😁

You know that gray square over your friend's plate is sometimes called a delicacy there and aged up to 10 years the best oldest stuff usually in the wedding, sometimes 1 to 5 years , a gurage food in almost every wedding, older Ethiopians love it

Another excellent video Myer. You won't believe I was giggling all by myself in the bedroom as I was watching the dancing. Do they hold wedding ceremonies and parties over weekends like we do here in South Africa? Don't say this out loud..I wouldn't concentrate on the food that much because of my poor digestive system. My eyes would be swiveling like mad because of the beautiful Ethiopian women..

I would say the injera is laid out and not as a plate but it helps to soak the sauces and keeps your plates a bit organized and easy to scoop the sauce.

Another big youtuber said the raw cuwrt in a wedding melted in his mouth, much better then a restaurant he had to chew. I think because in weddings the cows are specially selected to get the best one. And your supposed to use the thick spicy red sauce owaze and berbera as a dip.

Haha love you guiys.. but you can always buy clothes at your location for events. It can be slightly disrespectful. Please take that as friendly advice you guys need to be better prepared a bit. If my family paid 5-10k for a party and my friends showed up in jeans that would look bad on me.
