Possible ideas for the future of the GRU series. 1) GRU is crippled by sanctions and given the old SMU death penalty for recruiting violations. Andrew Luck is fired & replaced by Grand Rapids own - Ben Fowler to rebuild from scratch and have a tarnished brand to overcome. 2) Continue the seasons to allow the likely possibility of additional championships, but now you are only allowed to hop in the first or fourth quarter of each game. You can only run the ball twice each 4 down series. You must punt or kick a FG on every 4th down regardless of the manageability of the pending 1st down. You must play all backups whenever you have a 3 score lead. 3) Retire the series and start a new school rebuild series in the Mountain West or Sunbelt, but maintain the similar GRU rules.

You should 100% make highlight reels of different players over the years. We need a Matt land highlight tape😤

Bordeaux I think it would really help your run defense if you put bigger guys on the line. Having guys under 300 at de/dt makes them easy for the offensive line to bowl over on run plays, creating the big runs that better teams tend to have. Great video as always.

This series proves that EA doesn’t need real players to make a successful game. If they just provide great game modes and gameplay we’ll love it. Give us an in depth feature rich game.

I feel in the future years (whether the team is good or not) there should be some scandals, penalty’s, etc like real life imposed to add extra layers to the school. Like NIL money to Ben Fowler ended up causing the team to lose 5 scholarship players Andrew Luck finding a new job, thus finding another coach and resetting the skill tree. I say this as someone who NEVER wants this series to end. I’m talking I’d wear Grand Rapids merch!!! 🎉🎉🎉

switch the series up to focus more on recruiting now that you have a competitive team. focus on individuals in recruits and then sim the games, taking peaks of the game thru spectator cam in certain situations. focusing on certain players now you can see how well your recruiting is to keep the school afloat.

You should make a team of your best players all time in this series and see if they would go undeafeated and win a championship.

I'd say lower the interceptions slider back down a bit to increase the difficulty. Also, and probably more so is to turn off the coaching thing that lets you see their play. Even if it's 10% of the time it OP to start them off with a huge loss of yards when you all out run blitz when you know it's coming.

Would love to see a new greatest coaching career where this time you start as a defensive coordinator at a small school then work your way up to bigger school then head coach status.

So fitting that knowing Michigan's plays helped you turn that game around. To keep up the challenge, have you considered playing a different position on defense such as DE? Maybe you could try getting a really good athlete for the edge and trying to set some sack records. While you got rid of your recruiting restrictions, it makes sense to limit your 4 and 5-star recruits for the longevity of the series. In the age of NIL, I doubt GRU really has the money to land more than 1 or 2 5-star players per year, and even your 4-star guys would likely be limited to 5-10 per cycle.

Keep the series alive. Gives people something to follow. depending on what you decide though I'd say keep the same series format for another Ncaa football game or any other creative game choice or mode.

Something that could increase the longevity of the series is letting the cpu play majority of the reg season games and commentating over them and hoping in and playing rivalry/ playoff games. Great video as always, keep up the great content!
