In this video I literally cut the board in half, in order to see how that will affect the game. Ok, maybe I did few adjustments, but that's it. Enjoy!

actually when they traded queens the position was a draw because the kings can't pass and you can't checkmate with only a rook or only a bishop so the game is a draw not a loss for white

i’ve actually make a chess but half game myself! It was like: You have the king and queen in the middle of each 4x2 set, and then 2 random pieces of your choice. (Rook, Bishop, and Knight) And then you have 4 pawns.
