This was my first time ever doing a detox for this long, and let’s just say it was quite the rollercoaster.
Thankfully, I was not doing this alone though! My mom and dad were also doing it with me, and my mom helped so much with all the food prep. I had no idea doing a detox was so time consuming in terms of how much food you had to prepare in advance. Everything from the salads to the juices all took a lot of planning.
Although it was physically, mentally, and emotionally challenging, I am super proud of myself for sticking through with it for entire 28 days. And even though I wasn’t perfect, I did my best with the circumstances that were present.
I highly recommend anybody interested in trying a detox to go for it! It’s a true test of your internal strength and will toughen your willpower to maintain self-control.
DISCLAIMER: Like I mentioned in the video, I was not doing this detox to lose weight or change my appearance. Detoxes CAN help you do those things, but that was not my intention. I wanted to give my body a rest and feed it good things to see how it would react and perform.
