Wow im so happy i found this video because I was also in the trap of uploading tons of Creative Fabrica designs on my shop! I wasn't consistent, and I "abandoned" it some months ago. I have had some sales, but then I realised most of them were from designs I created myself. After some months of inactivity, I'm now "re-activating" my shop, and being consistent everyday. Let's see how it goes......!!! Thank you for your motivation!! ❤

I really like how you are authentic compared to most of these Etsy Sellers on KZfaq. Most love to brag about their fortunes yet in truth it feels misleading. I like you because you are like most of us sellers that work hard and are trying to get to that 1000th sale which seems so hard to do at times. I love your personality and perseverance in this Etsy journey. I am doing the same yet it seems I wanna give up but I got to keep going and look for that light at the tunnel of success. You have a new follower. It's not every day I watch videos that are this long or even comment on them, but I've committed to this journey back in on January 1st, and I have created almost 200 designs with Kittle, set up my Gelato Print on demand, and connected them all to my Shopify. I just signed up with Etsy also, as I narrow down the sales channels I will use before I fully launch. While I am focusing on Gen Z apparel, hoodies first, I just downloaded a design calendar for the entire year, as I totally agree that following trends is likely the best way to go. I applied for Amazon Merch and am really hoping that I am accepted, but I'm really trying to find as many passive and organic websites and platforms with its own traffic before I start using Facebook ads etc. It's funny, as I just subscribed to your channel and while writing this just now, I see on my phone where you just uploaded another video. About to go check it out. Thanks, and wish me luck and lots of sales!

I finally have had time to sit down and watch/listen to this! I LOVE that y’all are taking the time to create and share this channel/videos. Every journey is different, every shop is different and so therefore every seller’s experience is going to be different even though there will always be some *universal truths*. Q4 was different/difficult for a lot of sellers - this was my first and like you I was anticipating something *more* that simply didn’t happen. It was disappointing but I look at it from the standpoints of 1) It was my first… 2) I learned from it…. 3) Some things were within my control and some things weren’t [Shawna can fill you in 🙄😆 ] …. 4) I know MANY seasoned sellers and long established shop’s experienced a very different Q4 than they had experienced in years past - so it wasn’t *just me* …. 5) What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger soooo get after it! I also look at shops/sellers like Shawna and know that they are PROOF that if you refuse to quit, refuse to make excuses and refuse to lose then you WIN!!! Thanks Lyneida ❤

Thank you for sharing. I found Shawna at the end of last year and have been watching her content and learning so much. One thing that I think would help me is when you all are creating content, when you use words like, “several months” or, “a lot of listings,” the words are so ambiguous that us new sellers don’t really know what you’re meaning. Is a lot of listings 1 a day, 3 a day? Or 10? Is several months 5 or 12? What does, “a lot of time” mean to you? You each say, “be consistent.” What specifically does consistency look like for each of you?😊

Could there be a secret formula for achieving sales on Etsy that we’re not aware of, and that many KZfaqrs are promoting in their courses?

So, questions - 1) does logging in to check activity or research without uploading a new design count as daily activity, or do you have to upload something every day? 2) You said, the orders cam in and you had to put them through.. i thought that part was automated with print on demand? or is your stuff customized? I've been avoiding offering custom stuff for that reason.

Is there a way to speed up the listing process? That seems to be my biggest gripe about building a new shop. It takes me an entire night after work just to put up 1 new listing from start to finish.

Do you still use Creative Fabrica to make your designs at all? I'm not a graphic designer so I have to buy some graphics to help with designs. But I do try to change things out to make them more unique. do you do that?

When you say "double down" on listings, does that mean double down on the ones that get viewed and favorited, or just the ones that are getting favorited a lot or just viewed a lot? Thank you!!
