I love both of these cars. They turn heads - the ZR1 because it’s so extreme and the C8 Stingray because it has the mid-engine layout - and it’s really a matter of your preferences and budget. The C8 is more plush and laid back (but still fast!), while the ZR1 exists to be harsh and intense. The C8 also starts at $68,000 still, while the ZR1 is deep into six-figure territory. I’ll also have a detailed review of the ZR1 coming soon to Cars & Bids! I think if I had the budget for both of them, I’d go with a manual ZR1 just because it’s more my personality. What do y’all think?

Enjoyed the video. Twitter comes to life. I love my C8, those light colored seats though, no go. I had one car with a light colored interior, never again, it gets dirty by just looking at it. I went with the Superman vibe, Elkhart Lake blue with bright red seats, everything else on the interior is black.

I love Doug, I like Alanis. I'm excited for the KZfaq channel. Love both cars, but it would for me to choose one. They're great, fast, and cool in their own way.

Truth be told, given your recent appearances on Doug DeMuro’s channel, I’m quite surprised you only have so many vids much less attention. But so far so good! Guess you do/did whatever Doug did before he hit the big time on YT… still solid content… Wonder if I should’ve researched C5 or C6 corvettes when inbetween cars due to a recent insurance matter instead of getting another Skyactiv era Mazda 6… to which car wise is moreso an “all of the above” kinda car… it has solid comfort and a slight lofty vibe comparable to turn of the century full size GM cars, but handles quite nicely on backroads if the suspension is up-to-date (and even if not, one can still drive that thing BALLS DEEP into switchbacks while still maintaining the speed limit far above the yellow advisory speed signs), and some small but noticeable creature comforts comparable to German luxury brands particularly the knob controlling the infotainment screen as opposed to a touchscreen where one’a fast food grease covered fingers could more quickly dirty it up than a knob and a few buttons.

I am going to America on my holidays the week after next, I have never visited a Chili's before but am tempted to track one down as it looks gloriously dreadful.

Came for the Corvette, stayed for Portia

I've only driven the C7 stingray on a track but it's so damn comfy. It's so smooth, but the party piece is the throttle and the noise! It's a fansastic Grand Tourer all day long. I'm not sure about the C8 - so much bodywork going on.

Came over from twitter or X or whatever Elon is calling it these days. Love the corvette’s. One of my favorite cars growing up and still to this day. Does that C8 have vented seats? All I kept thinking was how sticky Alanis must feel. At least the C8’s seats are lighter in colour.

I need the cookie skillet.
