Glad to see you around here again! Nice video. It was a touch jarring to suddenly have a voice appear from behind the camera and not introduced. I really liked the shots and insight though!

Looks like a great car, but I hate it that all car interiors are this dark grey colour nowadays. Give me a brown, blue, green or red interior, like back in the 80s!

The Toyota Sienna is the modern family minivan, maybe the Grand Highlander too? Sequoia is if you have a ton of kids or need to Tow and want a 3 row body on frame SUV instead of a truck. But i'd save 70k and buy a nice 06' or 07' for 9k ...can't beat that 4.7V8. I have an old 100 Series LC with the same engine.

You want the mirrors to be plain plastic. Mirrors take a beating and get chipped to hell, paint would just make that more obvious. It is after all supposed to be a multi purpose vehicle even if we all know most will never be on anything more difficult than a gravel parking lot.

just once I'd love an informed auto insider explain WHY automakers don't use nicer materials inside their cars. Surely they recognize the crappy feel of these things too, right?

Thank the bean counters who pinch a penny here and a penny there, which adds up to a LOT of money over the production run of a vehicle. It all comes down to that--and durability.
