Yes , the worst thing about having a new vehicle is if you use it, it will get damaged. And we dont by them to use as " display items " . You want to keep it new as long as possible, then you have to realize it's a tool not a decoration. Glad your home and got to help with family. Always a good thing.

For some reason I thought the new ones were electric. Very cool ride! As far as trailer, maybe the spare got hit from same guy that dented the bed of pickup? Randy, i hope all goes well for you with your uncle. A few things to note: 1. He will never get back to the uncle you remember of years ago. The dementia took that. You will have to deal with a new normal 2. Odds are he might not remember you. NEVER get angry or frustrated with him. That is the dementia. If he still believes his folks or grandparents are still alive then just agree with him. Dont try to correct him and say they are dead. Just go with the flow 3. Try to live in the era he is living in. If he thinks it is 1986 then just let him keep believing that. 4. Try to have a few things from his home join him in the assisted living place. Things he would be familiar with. Pics on the wall, a favorite clock, his set of keys ( if they are still needed for the house, make copies and leage him the older used set) Try to learn all about the things that happened in that era so as to talk to him Good luck

Randy, I've said this before, your channel is enjoyable, but you must keep your interaction with your fans, especially those of us who have paid memberships.

we've had a lot of solar flares the last few weeks and we had one this week so that could be affecting it also. There could be a software glitch also but who knows:) My brother has had 2 of those back in the 80's when they were super popular especially here in minnesota this is an awesome vehicle. I'm sorry to hear about your uncle Randy my Mom had dementia too and it was hard to deal with and on top of that she had lung cancer was diagnosed in 2011 and passed away in 2013.

The more you drive it, the better the gas mileage will get. You know how it is, everything gets settled in and seated. You might get up to or over 20mpg. I don't know if it requires premium gas, but it's probably worth paying extra for it and avoiding ethanol. And try not to worry too much about door dings. They add character. BTW, when you change the oil check the drain plug for shavings. Great video!! Thanks Randy 👍🙏🇺🇲

Hey. Dementia is a terrible thing I’d say make more memories while you can. It’s crazy how it works at times they might remember things but the scary part is them forgetting honestly. They might forget who you are some days and remember the next, and something I was told I’d they might even forget to breathe and it’s a scary thing. For the memories they might forget make new ones for the rest of the journey much love man.

Randy get on the highway get to the speed limit set your cruise then reset your mpg readout. I have a 2004 dodge 1500 4dr with a hemi 2wheel drive and get 18 to 23 on highway.

Gotta be honest, when I first saw the new GW, I thought it was an incredibly ugly vehicle. But after watching this vid the exterior with its chrome trim is starting to grow on me. The interior being beautiful helps too.
