I had been debating for about a year about whether I should relax my hair. This year, I got tired of stressing over my hair and being sad because I was struggling with it. I finally mucked up the courage to relax it and schedule an appointment to do so this Saturday! Good luck on your journey ❤️

He should’ve started with the ends first and did your scalp last. The heat from your scalp makes it process faster which is why it starts burning quicker. Not doing the ends first gave it less time to process which created the “poodle effect” smooth roots & puffy ends. But everything else looks fine. It came out okay

Mine shreds everytime a comb but small piece ever since I've relaxed my afro. And it goes from silky to kinky in two weeks, maybe I'm in a hurry after the next redo it'll be fine right?

Lovely video ❤ but as a professional hairstylist this process isn’t correct. He was supposed to do tips before applying the relaxer to the body of the hair for someone transitioning from natural to processed hair.
