Maybe but I am a believer that the most important stats in a hand cannon in order are handling, stability, and then range. I feel like you should have enough range to hit 30 meters but stability and handling are felt in Every gunfight and I would rather have a snappy, stable gun then a couple extra meters. Handling is your ttk.

Came here to say this, I have this roll & other with fluted and smallbore/accurized, it’s not great, as expected, really need that range MW on coup, it’s already pretty “snappy” imo. The range definitely lacks tho an you feel it. I have been grinding for that roll the whole time, I’d of stopped at this roll if I thought it was sufficient, it’s not. Need the range MW. My MW is stability tho. My range is sitting at 57. It still lacks, I feel the lack of range 100 percent.

It's so damn frustrating grinding for certain god rolls. Like the matador, I have killed that damn ogre so many times and only have a 4/5 roll. Sometimes I get all armor on my three characters for the week. If I ever get the god roll I am never going into grasp ever again.

Brings me back to the Kindled Orchid days. I farmed for the god roll for sooooo long and never got it to drop once.

Some how I won the personal lottery and got my God roll combinations on a single Shiny. Fluted (handling feels fantastic on it)/Full bore (max range at 75), Accurized, EP/Attrition Orbs + Kinetic Tremors/Frenzy on a Range MW making it 60 Range, 50 stab (could be better but not horrible, and 75 Handling. Managed to get a EP + Zen but had bad stats everywhere else and it didn't feel nearly as good as my PvE God shiny I mentioned. Even with the right perks, depending on the base stats, the barrel and mag can really make or break the weapon.

i hear both sides, but i respect my time a lot more now that ive gotten older. i think crafting should get some tweeks and not have enhanced perks. but crafting as a whole makes the community healthier because random lfg player who rarely raids can get a god roll launcher after grinding out five last wish raids

​@@truv_absolutely, if enhanced perks didn't make crafted weapons power creep their uncrafted variants then crafting could just be a good source of bad luck protection to be added to the game more widely.

@@truv_ Frankly, I was surprised they allowed enhanced perks at all. It made me think they didn't have faith players would use the system unless it powercrept the included weapons. Crafting as "bad luck protection" should have been how it was from the start. We're seeing the fallout with the enhanced perk system now where they're having to add that feature to non-crafted weapons just to make people want to chase random rolls again. If crafted weapons stayed at base perk strength, it would have been fine, especially since most of those "enhanced" versions (barring Surrounded and Incandescent) are relatively minor boosts in the first place.

Didn't we go through this with Year1 though? Once you get the roll you want, there's no reason to play after lmao. People got insanely bored and asking for random rolls, I can't believe we're going full circle again 🙄🙄🙄

@@muddcatt1340 Funny you say that because I've always believed random rolls to be a mistake. Everyone goes for the same perk combinations on every weapon so everything is already "the same" when you're done wasting time with the 500 versions of the weapon you previously dismantled for not having "best consistency" + "best damage" perks. If you're playing the lottery for the dopamine hit, you have a problem. Maybe if the game was actually fun and had reason to play beyond spinning the lottery, they wouldn't have missed their target revenue and wouldn't have had to lay off so many people. You can keep your Skinner Box. I don't need flashing lights and an ever-weakening dopamine rush to play video games.

I have opened the chest over 40 times this week. Not 1 shiny. Making loose motivation to grind.

The point of a looter shooter isn't ever to be guaranteed the drop you want though. That's any game ever. The game loop exists because of the low chance of getting exactly what you want to keep you grinding for more loot. That's the entire gameplay loop of the entire genre. It's why things like the Auction House killed Diablo 3 as it created an avenue for players to essentially not play the game. They can cheese a spot for Gold then just let other people grind the game so they can just afk at the AH and buy it. For what reason idk since they clearly don't want to play the game, better gear isn't going to make them enjoy a game they don't enjoy enough to do the grind in the first place. What we need isn't crafting, we need more safety nets and ways to influence drops. The attunement is a step in the right direction but imo we should have something else. I think what would be better is if attuning drops gave you a bar you had to fill from doing activities. Once you do enough, you can turn it in for a roll in which you can pick 1 Mag or Barrel and 1 3rd or 4th column perk. That way you don't kill the main gameplay loop but have a much higher chance of getting the exact roll you want or as close to the 5/5. But a full on crafting system should be fewer than pure drops. Look at crafting right now. Any weapon unable to be crafted to get enhanced perks automatically makes it "worse". For example Zaoulis bane, you would never opt to use a drop version or even an Adept version (depends) when you can get the crafted version to get enhanced Incandescent. Anything and everything is compared to whether it can get enhanced perks or not. Honestly the enhanced perks is what really needs to go. My point is: By introducing crafting to more weapons it makes the non crafted versions of those worthless to get. Once you get all crafted weapons in an activity or raid? That content now provides nothing for you. Even adept chasing isn't worth it for most weapons as the crafted versions with enhanced perks are almost always better. If you want to remove the main reason we play the game, then that's fine by me. But just know that the weapons are going to feel less and less rewarding once random drops are no longer the main source.

If you can hit at least 60 I think it's perfectly serviceable. Anything lower and you almost have to play in Sidearm range, which you're likely not going to win lol.

Explosive payload builds stacks of Zen moment twice as fast, because the bullet is split into two hits; the impact and explosion.

@@BarderBetterFasterStronger yeah warlock is a little lacking although spirit of verity + heart of inmost light/necrotic could potentially set up for some gimmicky one shot grenade/melee builds. depends on if inmost gives a damage bonus or if it's just regen
