I tried to get flights out of Jax but they were really expensive and not too many good options. Your route sounds better but much more expensive maybe?

@@JayOrCruise You’re right, Orlando has more options. Jax has few options, I usually fly with Delta, on peak season it’s between 2k-3k, off peak 1300-2k. This past July ‘22, I tried Philippine airlines NYC-manila-davao (jax-nyc with delta).

You could have flown from Orlando to San Francisco or Los Angeles and take a direct flight for 15 hrs to Manila. Take the 6:25 or 8:40 AM flight from Manila to Cebu for approx 1 hr 40 min.

You’re right! I opted for the budget flight this time as the last one was much more expensive. I was in no rush, so I was prepared for a longer trip. I wonder what the price difference would be though.

Sinulog is in SRP ( South Road Properties) near the Newstar Casino hotel which is far from Cebu City proper. It used to be in the Abellana sports complex which is in Cebu City.

Leaving for Siargao today so unfortunately will miss it but I hear it’s amazing!

@@chasingmyasianqueen that is the route we took on the last trip BUT I got those tickets for free through my saved American Airlines miles. I wanted to do more of a budget trip this time to see what that looked like. It took longer but all in all it wasn’t bad.

@@mikelee7972 I stayed in Cebu in an Airbnb for a month on my last trip. It was 3 weeks too long for me but I 💯 prefer island life. You may be different so do you! Flight is what it is. Just prepare yourself mentally and enjoy the adventure that it is.
