Wow....what a watch. Thank you for your vulnerability, this video really resonates with us all. You've beautifully illustrated that feeling lonely is not synonymous with being alone. You've instantiated it is the quality, the intentionality, and the care in our connections that build healthy supportive communities and provide a cure to loneliness. I've watched this over a few times and each time I absorb another lesson in how community care is inextricably linked to our levels of companionship and happiness. It is so warming to see that even if you feel like you currently don't have that, it is possible to find and create it.

AIDANNNNN YOU MAGNIFICENT BEING, YOU DID IT AGAIN I've been having many thoughts about this. I've been changing so much the past 2 years, that what seemed a call for connection, was just a need for validation. And since then I've become a much more private person, as you probably have noticed (or... not noticed in a way?). And in a way it's been learning to sit with myself and validating my own presence. Which therefor made it feel a lot less lonely. But yes, now, I'm also searching for that community, which is here, but also feels a bit terrifying to not fall in the same patterns and connect with the wrong type of people, who aren't good for where I need to be. Well, here's to a life long of learning! Also, love those pants, send me a dm on where you got them #influenced

Looks ideal, makes me want to strike out and rent a co-living space in town! But then I have flashbacks of my co-living experiences when I was in college and the first few years afterward... it's also called "having roommates". Unclaimed dirty dishes in the sink, tiny space in a shared fridge, people dragging home an endless stream of GFs and BFs, roommates dominating shared spaces with their own friends... uh, no thanks.
@AidanBelizaire
@AidanBelizaire 2 ай бұрын
Hahaha, I know EXACTLY what you mean! I literally said this too before I went, but I promise, co-living although similar is not this at all. People are older, working full time, and don’t (at least in my experience) focus on parties or drinking. Instead the focus is cooking, hiking, great conversations etc etc. It’s clean and respectful and you can’t just invite people over (not without politely asking!) because the people’s friends are each other in the building, 99% don’t know anyone else, which is partly the beauty of it. Anyway, sorry for the essay haha! Hope this provides a bit more clarity for you dude! I would totally suggest researching into it too for yourself. Have a great day man and thanks for taking the time to watch the video! 🙌🏽

Wow, that's so honest and on point. It's 100% true! I left my community back home, I have friends here, but yeah, life gets in the way, and loneliness sets in. I have a full house all the time but still feel lonely most days. Miss past times when things were so much simpler. The more virtually connected we are, the more we feel the disconnect to the real world. Amazing video, my friend ! Hopefully, I'll see you soon 😊

I hear you, I had to not only leave the city, but leave the country! But, it’s worth it to keep looking, trust me. And like I said in the video, if you struggle to find what you’re looking for, consider creating it. There’ll be people looking too just like yourself. Maybe they will find what you create, which will help you out also! Firstly, try looking for groups/meet ups in the hobbies/interests you’re into. Reading/movie clubs, games nights, hiking groups etc. Take some time to research and then work on approaching. It’s hard, but I promise you it’s worth it! I really hope this helps! 💛
