I had 2 Saturns, 96 SC 1 and a 99 SL 2. Loved them both. Common problem was the coolant temp sensor causing high idle.

On the Volvo just heat up up that area and tap it out from the inside and the tailgate too.😁👍

36:47 Nope Randy that is a LaCrosse; and judging by the front grille and the hubcaps, a 2008-2011 CX model. the Lucerne has 2 large single headlights, while the LaCrosse has the double headlights. I wouldn't mind at all if you found a Lucerne at the yard in the next video!

For your comment about the Saturn as a poor mans car, well my Grandfather had money but we always drove disposable cars. Keep the car till it dies then get another cheap one. Even his house he live mid-class since he didn't really want to show people he had money. What made his happiness was his family and not material things. So you never know there maybe people with money driving a Saturn. For the Impala. I might have been though a different auction you can look it up. I forget the website but the Nico Brothers use it when they bid on cars and it shows if it was played before. That most likely how the ashes and check engine light came on

Lucky Tesla has their own insurance now, and it’s actually a lot less expensive than regular ICE cars. Never had to wait in any lines with plenty of super chargers on my cross country road trips in my Model 3 either (maybe OKC could use some more).

Central January 2023 I have owned a 2002 Volvo V70 XC cross country. Black with a black leather interior. 94000 miles one owner . Two things are wrong with it the AC doesn't work ☹️ . What's the time the instrument panel doesn't work. So I have to guess how fast I'm going and how much gas is in the tank I can deal with that 💯

Thanks for the Saturn SC1 review. I am searching out a replacement 2002 SC2 for my wife, she drove a SC2. Main draw for her was the driver side trick door. Great local/regional shopping car. And that SC2 sipped gas! Not many left........ It is like the "Hunt for Red October". Give it more time and I know I will find one. Southwest United States is a likely location as this car will develop frame rusting and will fail the annual inspection. We are in East Ohio.

Buy back your old impala when it goes back on sale.

I think you should buy the Saturn sc1 because it would be a great reliable car for you to keep it can be your back up car and my dad have a 01 or 02 sc2 in the silver it was great

lol I had a sc2 it was fully loaded with a sunroof went out over the back window. One thing I remember about it was it vibrated from new at lights when just sitting lol it was peppy it had a sport button 😂 it was a great fun reliable car it took a ass kicking 😂

I’m 22 and own 2 Dodge Grand Caravans. A 1998 SXT with the 3.3 which was my car then I bought a 2017 SXT Loaded as my second car but my first car purchase which was my decision. Why a 22 year old wants a minivan? Well simply it’s because I like to road trip and go out with all my friends in one car. So it fits 7 comfortably and it’s the most practical car ever. Storage all over and comfortable ride and cheap to maintain. Plus for the price you can’t find a 7 seater

Saturns for the most part were good cars. My older brother had a 1999 SL1 4 door. It was only $1000 at the time in 2009-2010, very reliable, and was actually good in a crash. He was smashed by a 03 Jeep Liberty failing to yield on a left turn and walked out of it with no injuries. Good car and have nothing bad to say about it.

its annoying that the Volvo locks with the keys in the car. as someone who works at a Volvo dealership, this happened to me once when I locked the keys in a loaner car and I had to find the spare key to unlock it. its super annoying

You could get an SC1 with an automatic transmission, but it was an option. The Dealer where I am would always order them in with the auto
