This is a Whites Stainless scoop. This was on the shelf the last day Whites Electronics was open in Sweet Home Oregon. I had to get it. It was the last one on the shelf.

Relic. ??? It's still being Made and Drank but not by me and I don't drink and I have still seen on the Shelf at a Big City Grocery Store.... and They still have Falstaff, Hamm's, Schlitz, Miller Pony, and Olympia Beer and ALOT More that I thought was gone but aren't

I have that same problem, it makes it very hard to pinpoint. I heard the XTP is not updatable. I think it does very well in the water!!

I find that if you run your sensitivity around 12 it is more stable

@@detectorguy4565 I don't want to sacrifice sensitivity for stability though. Thankfully most of the places I detect have low EMI so I can get my sensitivity up to 20-22

It is like that all throughout our city on our streams and river.

I used the Xterra Pro that hunt. I use many detectors.

It is sad what has become of our streams and rivers in the big cities of thde US. All big cities are the same now...the waterways have become a cesspool

The CCC would be a great way to reduce homelessness. It worked very well in the 1930's.

This is just a drop in the bucket. That whole hillside is full of abandoned camps. This is what turns us off on metal detecting the streams in my area. The homeless have completely destroyed our streams!!

We will not be going back there because the water is very polluted by the homeless camps on the hillside. That big target felt like something so heavy we would not be able to lift it out of the water.

That large target was way too big to extract from the creekbed. It looked like an old truck rear end or gearbox. That is probably where some of the slimy oil was coming from. That water was super nast. We only hunted in it for about 30 minutes until both of us came to our senses and decided it was too much of a risk getting cut or stabbed by some nast metal or syringe. That abandoned homeless camp had several holes in the ground toilets full of TP just 15 feet above that creek. We never going back there.

That was English ivy that many people and myself are not sensitive to. English ivy has very small amounts of urushiol. However I am always on the lookout for poison oak which is very common here and I am extremely sensitive to. Western ivy which is poisonous is only in eastern Oregon. I an always on the lookout for stinging nettles too.

I am sure if somebody gave them a chance...some might get back on their feet and keep a job. I do agree, society makes it easy being homeless, free tents and food. Too many handouts. Let them work and feel needed, they will thrive!

You got that right! That water was super nasty oily. I will not be going back there!!
