This is awesome. Whilst swappers are hated by Epic for obvious reasons, I don't really think it's morally wrong at all. I'm glad there's someone like you to analyze these websites to make sure what's fake and what's real. People are going to download swappers anyway, might as well show them educate them on how to do it safely. Good shit.

This is a good video, but the only thing that's off, is when he downloads it from discord. I would go to the releases page for the source code to download it or get the final version. But instead, they put it in a linkvertise page.

2:40 there is a way to bypass this by just clicking the download opera gx, but then closing the pop up so you dont actually download opera gx. And then just wait because it has like a cooldown since it thinks your actually downloading it.

Hi Eric good video but I think people still should not download the real one because people can get banned but I would say they can get your account info because you need to allow them to start the game from epic games launcher from their software and I saw at some people using it on tiktok and day later needed to reset their PC but I know it is tiktok and I don't even know that much about these things and even if someone says that the galaxy swapper is scam/virus they get banned on discord within 2 min

Hey Eric, was wondering if you could please do a video on the Fortnite software, "Project Nova". It's a program that uses old Fortnite versions to run older seasons, and is said to be a miner when being played. The software is very sketchy, but it's a cool way to play the game. I would love to use Nova, or its alternative Project Reboot, but it is way too sketchy. Thanks, loved this video.

Noticed that you didn't mention this. if it has a password on a zip file it is most definitely a virus, the reason they do this is because it tricks windows defender and won't get flagged.

I appreciate you commented this for everyone. I know I’m late but I just wanted to say thanks for confirming this with me. I’ve seen a lot of stuff with passwords on it in my time on the internet and I generally never trusted those files because I kind of picked up on their shadiness. Glad to see I was right about this!

Interestingly, the source code isnt up to date. I built the project myself and it instantly takes me to the website telling me I need an update and to download a conveniently prebuilt version from there.

There are alot of tuturials on youtube showcasing fake ones. You can just click on the channel of the person who uploaded it, usually its a stolen account who now just uploads scams. U can tell if its like this because the videos previously will be about like makeup or something, speaking in another language to being about downloading fortnite and speaking english.

if you're not streaming or anything that shows ur pov of the game and you using the swapper, you wont get banned. If you want to be super sure just don't download it. I'm using it for a couple of weeks now and nothing happened to my account

I'm not really into fortnite so I can't give definitive advice on that. It's not allowed but enforcement is rare from what I have heard.

To get the 48 hour key you dont need to install the software or whatever it wants you to do its just a timer so you can just close the pop out after you click on it then you will get access within 2 minutes or so

Im pretty sure galaxy swapper was always open sourced but there was a lot a fake ones out there, i used to mod fortnite a lot and make my own custom skins ages ago manually editing the files so i only used this tool a handful of times

Well, I've been using this swapper for a long time, and I actually didn't download it from a single file with bats and everything. I downloaded the app without files, so maybe some people think, 'Download it for the key.' Well, you shouldn't download it because you will trick the website into thinking that you downloaded it. So, yeah. But do not install stuff with bats.

The main issue is that fn is literally tailored towards kids and they download the most blatantly fake skin swappers because of how gullible they are and talk about how they got a virus. Also the people who have successfully downloaded it are either gate keeping it or just hiding it since they're afraid epic will ban them.

I tried doing this but first It said that "windows cannot access the specified device path or file you may not have appropriate permissions" But then when I tried to install it again my norton360 said it wasn't safe and uninstalled it, so I don't know if it's truly safe or not. Things like skin swappers aren't actually a bad thing. I mean it's nothing that improves your skill directly, it's just optical. But Epic just wants Money so they hate such things. But it isn't actually illegal if you see it from my perspective

The reason you saw a malware was because it didnt redirect you to the download, but an ad first which was the setup.exe

That's not possible. I might make a video going over the ways of getting rid of these viruses, but viruses don't 'get onto' your hardware. You can reinstall windows if you don't mind losing your data.

as long as you havent installed any ads, then you should be alright, you really shouldnt need to turn off your av, but it could be a false positive so that makes sense.

how do you know its a false positive? did the creator of it say it was? did some random guy say it was? saying "fasle positive" doesnt mean anything and is a way of getting out if it

@@3547cdr5 The github is open source, so you could audit the code and compile it in theory. The reason I don't recommend this kind of software is because it's very likely to cause false positives, but that doesn't mean it cannot simultaneously be a real +ve.

Yes but only if you play tournaments with it. If you play creative or normal or ranked battle royale with it, you wont get banned.
