The fat reduction is caused by the sudden cold causing the fat cells to momentarily contract. The fat doesn't breakdown or go away. It's just a temporary effect. Dermal plumpening does the opposite effect, using heat. It's just a *magic act!*

I'm Norwegian and fat so I was thinking the same.. I go from hot (inside) to extreme cold outside half the year😂 (or used to, live in Ireland now) .. That said there are health benifits to cold so it's probably not harmful..

Yeah there's no proven health benefits to the chamber - though the fat killing does work. The fat killing should only take effect gradually though, so that 88 to 86 cm thing seems like the just pulled it tighter the second time. The fat killing (or cryolipolysis) is a legitimate treatment, but not for something like obesity of course, just an aesthetic one, to be used on fat that isn't really responding to diet or exercise (as those are obviously preferable, and cheaper, alternatives). Apparently there's a possibility for weight gain, oddly - something to do with fat being deposited elsewhere. Idk about the face one.

Just to clarify at 1:30. The blood pressure machine was reading 126/69 and the 73 is his heart rate. If any of those vitals were as listed, we'd not be watching Joey.

@@claugg9 not necessarily; but nevertheless, hypoxia is very dangerous, especially if you are not a trained proffesional (ex. pilot, freediver) it's superb dangerous. Proffesional freedivers can go as low as 40% oxygen saturation in their brain, or 60% in overall body without passing out or any consequences

Just a little correction for 1:32, 73 is the heart rate, not the oxygen saturation. For the oxygen sat. you'd need a finger probe and for it to be normal it must be above 95% lol

@@PremonitionGamingVid i wouldnt go as far to say that. i havent found any reliable studies to prove their benefits or risks, long term or short term either way. there is however some evidence that cryotherapy can help with athletes short term recovery. but theres nothing conclusive to prove the efficacy of cryotherapy.

@@Kyubab Harvard has an article on this. The same logic applies for just applying ice to an inflamed area. Adding freezing temperatures to an area of the body has the same risks as cryotherapy. Similar to the effects of being in freezing temperatures except that time is reduced to avoid hypothermia and frostbite.

8:48 to 13:26 This guy didn't realize it was a bad idea to pull the tape tighter to pretend Joey lost two centimeters after the treatment? It's _actually_ on record now. Maybe people can't tell afterwords because they've been numbed to the point they can't feel that it's being pulled harder, but we can actually see it in the fat on Joey's sides lol Oddly though this gave me some asmr tingles. Mostly the last treatment. The wooshing of those pants was very asmr. If anybody has a playlist of videos they've stumbled across doing this please share a link. It's always better when it isn't intentional imo.

Yeah I think they just read the bloodpressure wrong. It's 126 systolic and 69 diastolic pressure and a pulse of 73. A saturation of 73% would indeed be very concerning.

They had to have read it wrong, or maybe they have a different type of measurement in Japan. If I was 95 or below the doc told me to go to urgent care when I had influenza. 90 or below is super danger zone.
