I absolutely love this series, however this episode wasn’t my favorite. Props for the creativity though!!! These people aren’t more or less “psychic” than any other person. It was especially weird that neither of them wanted to go first. 😂They then proceeded to give the most basic “reading” they could possibly give. Heck, I could have given a better one.

Im certainly skeptical of these psychics, not skeptical of the existence of psychics... just not sure about these ones. But I'm open minded & am still enjoying the ep!

Won’t lie as someone who is v interested in psychology these two psychics whilst I feel their approach is therapeutic is more just reflecting information you told them in slightly different wording

I enjoyed the video a lot and the guests. I though it was really cool to see two different perspectives from the same realm. I always enjoy conversations about these topics as I find them very intriguing and always want to hear more. Sucks to see that most people in the comments didn’t enjoy it as much as me.

I kinda miss the old format where it would just be 20 secrets and you'd give your thoughts on them. I love the podcast but I feel like the "revealing your secrets" aspects that we loved are mostly gone.

i had so much trouble for 4 days i feel very unmotivated even just to get up and fold my clothes i opened the podcast and trough listening i cleaned my space and it was very nice to listen different stories on this topic even if i dont believe these kinds of things so much

I usually truly am blown away when I see videos of psychics because I do actually believe in psychics. And I also usually really love this podcast. Aside from the one episode with the therapist where she had some (in my eyes) really bad takes. Buuuuttt this episode I’m not really enjoying. They just don’t feel legit and this doesn’t feel like a secrets podcast episode. There wasn’t really enough secret content for me. I hate that I’m adding to the dozens of negative comments because I know how hard Alyx works on this podcast and how much she actually enjoys her own work. But you can never grow if you never get feedback. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I love you Alyx, but this episode was not my favorite. I still watched the whole thing!

going into this ep i was trying to have an open mind, but this made me even more skeptical. (Or shameless plugs) You can tell Alyx was really trying to keep them on track! Besides, she is the reason I watch, and any episode where I don’t get to hear her takes is not a good episode!

i really enjoyed this episode, and i know a lot of people are saying that they don’t know how to feel about the psychics which i understand but i’m so happy to see you really incorporating your spirituality into this podcast. i think it’s great that you’re trying new things and id love to see you continuing to share your thoughts on this subject. i loved your old revealing your secrets videos from an entertainment standpoint but this podcast adds so much more depth and really shows your growth as a person.

This episode seemed less focused on the secrets. I get branching out and having guests but I feel they way you invited your therapist on is more the way to go. It wasn't all her stories there was a balance that kept the podcast more focused. We hear lots more stories from the psychics and also the energy was just lacking. You, Amanda and your therapist have this energy about you that is exciting, fun, and intruiging.

completely unwatchable. shouldve done a separate video about psychics as this was only about them. we didn't speak about the secrets here and there were also only like 2 or 3. I skipped to the going public just to find we were still interviewing them.

i am so grateful for the series and i still love it to bits and pieces but honestly it felt like the guests in this episode just used the secrets to talk about their own experiences and their own lives which would be cool on its own, or even just to explain some of the "science" behind it, but the whole point of the series was to focus on the secrets and not something in their personal lives that was only half-related to the topic. i guess just to summarize, i wish there was more focus on the secrets. i feel like what should have been done was the psychics recommending things to the submitters like how to deal with their psychic trauma, how to start off their potential journey, how to harness their abilities etc. instead of their cool, jam packed action stories that just take away from the secrets. am i just repeating myself? probably but i hope someone else can relate to this

I really liked this episode! I just don’t think it was necessarily the right space for it? I don’t think an audience expecting juicy secrets (possibly to make them feel better about their own lives. I certainly partake in that aspect) care too much for spirituality or discussion about it. Again, I personally really enjoyed it, just didn’t feel like a revealing your secrets ep.

They all have such a wonderful gift. I just read most of the comments and see that they are negative. I understand that most people are skeptical. It is hard to believe something when you can't entirely know whether it's true or not. I wish that this got more positive attention, I'm sorry. I really enjoyed this! I don't really believe in psychics, and tbh I didn't really care for them being here, but that's mainly because I'm here for alyx and what a therapist has to say, side note, if they need your full name and birthday to do a reading, how are they supposed to do a reading on anonymous people online? but it is nice to see alyx branching out and sharing her spiritually here, I just feel like it's not exactly what this podcast is for, and maybe this would have been better suited for a separate video. I'm being open minded and watching the video all the way through but if future videos are like this I might not. EDIT: this episode felt a lot more like an interview than a revealing your secrets video. I felt like I got none of alyxs opinions on the secrets, and I also felt I didn't really get the psychics opinions on it either and they just went on tangents. Again I feel like this would have been better suited for a video that would just be called "interviewing psychics" because that's what it was.

what happened to amanda?

Loved the video Alex! I had a near death experience back in 2018. I had stage 2 hodgkins Lymphoma and went through 6 months of intense Chemotherapy. The treatment I went through doesn't even exist anymore because there are much better ways now already. I also went through 2 hospitalizations which was because I had very low white blood cells. I finished the treatment and was cured thanks to my amazing doctors in Boston. I am saying all this because I believe I am able to hear and feel the dead. I believe the chemotherapy unlocked apart of me able to do this. Since being cured I have seen my grandmother 6 times now in dreams. Its always the same dream, I'm standing in my house "which she's never been" and my whole family and my grandma were standing in a room in front of me. I say "how is she here she died?" and my whole family says together "She never died.". Another time I was in a white room and turned to the sound of laughter that I have not heard in 20 years, It was my grandmother and I gave her a hug which the whole dream felt like I was awake. Since my treatment I believe I have become a magnate for spirits to have someone to communicate with you. I 100% believe that its another plane that co-exists within our own. Love the podcast and your guests however, I only disagree with your next partner being in animation, He owns a brewery on the east coast 😉

It was very validating to hear Roman tell his story about the creature with glowing red eyes. When I was young, I saw a woman with glowing red eyes at night while I was outside with my uncle. He yelled at her to go away and I remember being shocked but understood it was some sort of spirit. This happened in Mexico where there’s a lot of paranormal activity.

like everyone else I prefer the og styled vids where it felt more personal with you and Amanda (miss her!)

My sister and I when we were teenagers, she met a guy she really liked they were always hanging out, she wanted to be with him so she looked up spells for him to fall in love with her.. she had a piece of his clothing ,a picture a couple other items. She did what she did and they ended up together. He was so madly in love with her like obsessed. They were together for years. They both became addicted to drugs so they were always abusive towards each other. She tried leaving him but he always came back. He would watch the house at night and call her 24/7. But it’s what she wanted 🤦🏻‍♀️ till this day (almost 9years later) he some how finds a way back either (one of his gfs, my sister had a new job and she worked there) some one, some how, is connected with him. It’s crazy!!!

As someone who is extremely skeptical of this type of stuff, I actually found this video interesting. They kind of lost me toward the 2nd half, but it did make me think about a lot of things. I have a lot of questions though: 1. What did she mean by "the divine"? 2. So they believe in God and the bible and also Greek Gods? 3. Do they think psychedelics are considered drugs since the guy said not to do drugs. Also, do they think spiritual experiences from them are fake and not "the real deal"? 4. How much do they believe in science? Do they believe in witchcraft as far as potions and stuff or is it just about the energy? 5. Why Couldn't she understand the woman speaking Spanish but she could understand the cat? Also, why isn't she getting the cat real help if it is being neglected? 6. So anyone can just have curses on them for the rest of their lives? 7. Alyx asked but I was still confused- can they reach people that have been so enlighted and "moved beyond" and what do they consider "beyond"? 8. I just need to know more about the offerings because that's just a lot for me personally. 9. So were they basically saying that if you don't believe in "the divine" then you can be cursed? 10. Also was she saying demon literally as in demon from Hell? 11. Do they think that demons or bad spirits can actually harm us in this world (like the cat thing?) If so then why wouldn't they just kill everyone in our sleep? 12. Do they believe in reincarnation? 13. Should we not let people vent because it is giving us negative energy? How do we release stuff if all of our words are spells? And if we just think stuff is that a spell too? 14. Do they believe in free will? Cause most people who don't believe in the concept of time as most people think that we don't have free will because it just is how it is. 15. I really want to know what they think about the tilt and how NASA says that that proves that zodiac signs would all have to be shifted so all of our signs are actually fake.

I throughly enjoy the occult and things of this nature. Not even slightly skeptical. However.... these two do not seem very genuine. Neither of them give off the energy they should be with such supposed knowledge and experience. I’m 50 minutes in and haven’t had any moment of thinking “wow, that’s profound!”. I feel a lot of what they are saying are very surface-level when it comes to the practice they’re talking about. I would just expect more from such “seasoned professionals”. I would expect them to make more sense, for example- the woman saying “I meditate at night” with no substantial context until YOU asked what that actually meant, and still, it didn’t really make any sense because she didn’t TRY to make it make sense. It seemed like 99% of what they said were simple, vague statements with no real explanation or passion behind it all. I say this because I love YOU, Alyx, and this idea is super exciting. *You* were/are very excited about this stuff too, and I love seeing that. I just think that perhaps the result would be better if more genuine folks are found! ❤️ Don’t give up on this idea, and don’t feel bad that this video hasn’t been received greatly. It’s 100% not your fault. I hope I did not come off too harsh! 🥺 (P.S. I love your videos haha..hahaha)

my friend had a very similar experience with a cat like thing with glowing red eyes this made my heart drop into my stomach that this psychic had a similar experience.
