@@Callsign_Sturmthey are totally legal. Even in canada flamethrowers are completely unregulated (last i checked). They are all considered farm equipment used for burning fields ie.) blueberry, so that they grow better in the future

I have a 72 acre farm in Alabama . I have a gun range and a buddy brought a friend of his over to shot one weekend. This kid had this exact model. I was blown away at how cool it was and how good it actually works. The quality of it is great. But it is $$$. That's why this kid bought it. Can't get a tight wad like me to let go of 1000$. I would rather get started on night vision. Keep it up Wranglersrar. Listening to that laugh made my day. Thank you!!!!!

Beware of the splashback. Buddy in Vietnam watched a guy panning the horizon with the flame fully out. He panned into a rock wall and the goo spashed back on him and hurt him pretty bad. He had to be evac'd out.

I seriously considered buying one of these to burn the weeds and brush along my fence line. I bought some agricultural property that hasn't been taken care of for a few years and I can't even get to the fences to repair them because it is so overgrown. Everything is too green and wet right now to burn with a propane torch and I can't put goats in there to clear it out until the fences are repaired. This has several legit uses... and can also be used for agriculture.

Exothermic definitely makes an interesting Ice-melter. I happen to know from experience that these pulse fire units run well with a 50/50 gasoline and diesel mix. Maybe give it a try, the fuel will burn longer with the less combustible diesel. Best wishes Cody!

You may think this is fun now, but it wasn't when I was a kid. I'm 56. I grew up on a small dairy farm in the central valley of California in the 70s and 80s. We didn't spray weeds. Every spring or early summer when the weeds were dry along the fence lines and ditches. We burned them. The weeds were almost chest high wild oats and whatever else grew. We used a propane burner and a propane tank mounted on wheels. It was a very hot and exhausting job. Somewhere along the line we learned to send guys ahead (my cousins and me) to preburn by flicking lit matches into the weeds. This was much easier for the guy running the torch. Everyone had to take their turn running the torch. Our PPE was a long sleeve work shirt. One year, we stopped the train because they had 5 cars of gasoline. Good times, those were.
