This is the story of my trip to the Taco Bell headquarters in California to get a private tour, meet with Mark King (the CEO of Taco Bell), and taste test some new items in the Taco Bell Test Kitchen.

Seeing location "Numero Uno" in the parking lot brings back great memories. Our family made quite a few stops at that tiny Taco Bell building when I was growing up as it was on our way to a local mall where we used to shop. It always smelled so good when you would walk up to the building. They would slide open the service window to take your order and the smell of all the food being freshly cooked (they don't do that anymore) would just hit you in the face, making you even hungrier than you already were. My parents are both gone now but the great memories remain.
