Yes I thought nari will support her and trust her but she turned against jiwoo with other students. If my friend do this to me I am never going to talk to her again. I understand nari at some point that she want to joint that special class but jiwoo is her friend she would have believed her. She kow jiwoo for a long time than other she close to her than others. But nari character is like that she is selfish and think about herself. At last she told jiwoo that she was upset because she didn't get into that class but did she even thought how jiwoo must have felt when her close friend don't trust her. Jiwoo must be upset but jiwoo is a kind girl that's why she forgive her because she is her friend.

honestly, nari was so fucking suspicious. she just badmouths whoever she feels is a bad person based on rumors or her own assumptions. i wouldn't have forgiven her.

I guess they wanted to show how competitive students can get because of social pressure to get perfect grades nowadays. I am going to take my finals this year and although people in my school aren't that 'openly' selfish and most people are still willing to share their knowledge, there is a very obvious change in behavior in people. Those that aren't usually studying and have been messing around are getting better grades as they have been studying much more and those who have been studying all along feel like they have more competitors now and they will start getting stingy with their notes as they want to get a bigger chance to be able to enter their desired school :( It's pretty sad that such a joyful place has become such a stressful place where friends become enemies :( But I guess that is life

Yeah it shows how flawed the school system is. School really reflects real life, but the system encourages division, hierachy and competiting instead of what we need- unity and cooperation.schools should be an environment for students to learn and teach each other.

Oh my gosh someone finally said it!!! I hate her so much she is annoying, rude and incredibly self centred. Like no wonder her classmates didn’t like her, yes they shouldn’t have bullied her at all but argh I just want her to leave the show already.

@@marysalliwag2508 I thought she would trust jiwoo but she didn't. She is a selfish character . I am telling you if jiwoo wouldn't have told about leaving the class and told other students including nari that how would someone feel if they get judged by their grades. Nari would have never apologized .

You'll understand if you're constantly being pressured by your parents. I remember crying nonstop when I couldn't enter the honor student for the first time back in 4th grade. Yes, her actions were wrong but that's what being pressured makes you. You're constantly anxious and scared to drop even 1 point of your score.

@@marysalliwag2508 that doesn't justify being bullied. If you see the previous episode, she was being constantly pressured by her mother. So she couldn't help it

@@ninectstay_ Well Jiwoo is also being pressurized by her family yet she hasn't every done anything like this. Nari also wanted to kick Soo Jung out of the gifted program because she wasn't deserving enough in her opinion. Nari doesn't get to decide who's deserving. Also why is she acting like she's superior to Chulho and Hangyeol just because she got into that program? If she was just worried about her grades then she wouldn't say stuff like "you aren't in the program so you have no right to even touch my things" or " you had bad grades so how can you be in gifted program but I'm not?"...seems like being in gifted program got to Nari's head and she started seeing herself as the only deserving and superior to people.

I think Nari only apologised because Jiwoo quit the program and she got the opportunity. Nari is really insecure. In the previous episode too,she was angry and plotting to kick Soo Jung out of the program. Jiwoo and the other friends came to help her when she was being bullied. But she was herself accusing Jiwoo,just because she was jealous that she didn't get into the program. She even behaved superior to Hangyeol and Chulho.

@@jayennegiselle1836 yessss. i personally think yejin's friends except jiwoo are weak as characters. they have too many flaws. AND, i still don't understand the purpose of making soojung a nerd now. not like that makes her less guilty of what she did in the past. the only best characters in this show is the three main lead, hangyeol yejin and jiwoo. they have their own flaws, but their character development has been pretty stable. i'm not sure about gyumin. we still don't have a closure of others reaction to jiwoo's situation, especially his reaction. why do i feel like he actually remembers her..

@@alyaathilah7375 Yeah. He gives the feeling that he remembers her. I don't understand why they just gave Soo Jung glasses to make it seem like she's now nerdy. Lol none of the top students like Hangyeol,Jiwoo,Semin,Nari and that whole gifted students club, have glasses😂😂😂. What dumb stereotype is this! And I don't like both of the friends of Yejin. Except Jiwoo,the other two seem to love jumping on conclusions. Nari and the other friend were the ones who made Semin walking with Soo Jung a big deal and implied that he was cheating on her. I guess it's because of their hate towards her but Yejin probably wouldn't think it's that big of deal if they didn't make it an issue from the start. Yejin did say that she trusted Ahn Semin and that he must be doing it for some purpose but Nari and that friend were insistent on their opinion. Even if Soo Jung betrayed them,Nari has no right to try to screw over Soo Jung in academics. Oh Soojung is studying like her and her academics has nothing to do with her personality. Yejin doesn't care about Soo Jung being a topper or whatever and has moved on but Nari doesn't want to. She's always bringing up Soo Jung even when Yejin isn't really interested in bitching about her. I liked Semin so much and I do still miss him. Don't know where they threw him though😂. Kyumin seems like a good guy and doesn't get swayed by others,unlike dear Nari here. Seriously, I didn't expect this from Nari.
