Yes please!! It's okay if you're inconsistent, we totally understand! But please give it a chance, your videos feel like a warm hug 🤗 Also I'm definitely subscribing to your German channel just to see if I can bring my German back to life after so many years without using it 😅

Wow, i just found you after making an ADHD video of my own and I relate so so much to all of this. Love your editing style and authenticity. I know it's so hard to stay consistent, especially with ADHD, but i hope you continue to make videos sometimes! Subscribed. =)

Jérôme, I empathize with so many of the things you have talked about in this video. I'm a similar age and was diagnosed with ADHD about 18 months ago. Like you, I've discovered so many things I've about myself in that time. Some have been hard, and some great. A big one was quitting my corporate career which wasn't good for me, and then retraining to begin a new career more in line with my core values. If anyone reading this is having troubles dealing with their new ADHD diagnosis/meds, just keep at it! It can be a long journey but you'll get to a better place in your life eventually :) Keep it up friend! Your videos are great!

Hi there from South Africa, I got my first lowest dose of Ritalin from the doctor yesterday, and found your first video to try and know what to expect --- I have been putting off all medications up to now, I'm 38, known I must have ADHD for a long time already but got to the point that I couldn't organise or handle it as best I have been trying up to now. So let's see how it goes, starting tomorrow!

This is so validating and helpful! I've been traumatized by bad employment situations and have been literally scared to jump in again for fear of being fired and losing my insurance. (Yet another reason nationalized health care is important!) Relate to EVERYTHING is this video, and appreciate the carrot vs. stick enticement to give routines another shot. *Thank you!* : - ) 💜

Fyi i found that an amphetamine, like dexedrine, that lasts 4 hours is better if taken once in the morning, then after 5 hours, aka an hour break after it wears off, then take another four hour dose. This way your heart gets a break in between, otherwise itd be like running an 8 hour marathon with no break in between for your heart. Whereas if you take an hour break in between your heart can rest. Also, take a slightly lower dose for the second dose since the first dose is still technically in your system so you need less. Take like 20% less for second dose. Your welcome.

Hi, Thank you very much. I'm at the beginning of the journey, still can not decide if Vyvance is the right meds for me or not. this video gave me hope that all the complications I have now will bring up brightness at the end, and I can see you have different vibes in comparison to the one I watched 4 months ago. I wish we could have a conversation

Unfortunately I got diagnosed with ADHD and my sychitrist proposed Ritalin, and I was thinking it will be the solution for all my problems, but apparently it's not, any advice?
@linodil

I agree with everything you've said, wholeheartedly. I've tried 20mg, 30mg, 40mg, and 60mg of Vyvanse. I ultimately settled back on 30mg. Without proper sleep, it can get complicated. I strongly recommend quetiapine for sleep. I have a stuffy nose, but I plan to reduce my quetiapine dose from 50mg to 25mg. As you mentioned, routines are beneficial. However, we often struggle to maintain them. Here's my advice: Take sleeping meds at 21:30. Take your medication in the morning or before work, preferably on an empty stomach. Eat something about 3-4 hours after taking the medication. Rather than rushing into a new relationship, I advise setting clear goals, perhaps focusing on diet or sleep. It's challenging, especially since we enjoy social interactions. For diet, consider organic eggs. Breaking your fast with 2-4 eggs is a simple ADHD-friendly food choice, packed with nutrition. If your actions aren't consistent with your words, take a moment to reflect. Emotions are transient. They come and go, so don't get too fixated. Just breathe. Overthinking can often occur when I'm fatigued or haven't eaten properly, so I don't take my thoughts too seriously during those times. I like to envision life as a chair with four legs: Leg 1: Quality sleep. The Oura Ring is beneficial for tracking, though it's on the pricier side. Leg 2: Diet. Without a proper diet, one should avoid things like rapeseed oil and processed foods like burgers and pizza. Leg 3: Drive and focus. What motivates you? Seeking a loving partner? Craving stability? Focus is paramount. You don't have to pursue professions like medicine or law enforcement; doing one thing exceptionally well is enough. Leg 4: Physical exercise. It boosts brain activity and is a remedy for ADHD. Achieving a morning workout routine can help promote calmness. if you focus more on this four legs and at work you will come farther You lose if you 1. Case pleasure all the time, talking to girls, friends 2. Having cheat meals. 3. Staying to long on phone calls at night.
