You were not fired, you were let go. I know what you’re feeling I’ve been in the same situation, it happened to me in a job I was in for 8 years. It was the worst experience of my life, I had just bought a brand new house and it was set to be completed in 4 months. I was not in a relationship and didn’t have any other income to rely on. My mother had to talk me off a ledge daily, I felt so defeated. It took me 4 months to find a new job. I survived and it made me stronger. You’re right, God has a plan and it will all be ok. ❤

Lying on an application isn't going to help, just be thruthful lol. I am the Hiring manager at a few stores I worked at, and I've seen that the "lay off" status is kinda sketchy and I hire people who've been fired more.

@@realtespa8956 she didn’t get fired though. She didn’t do anything wrong and they wrote letters of recommendation. She was laid off because they either didn’t need her position anymore or didn’t have the money to pay for the position. So she wouldn’t be lying. I would never promote lying. She literally got laid off.

F that job. I gave 12 years of my life to mine (which paid me 6 figures the past few years) only to get discarded like trash. All the "friends" I thought I had turned their backs on me except for ONE. Anyway, you're gonna be way better off in a year I promise you. Just don't give up and start making moves to a better future!

I feel you cause I felt the same when I had lost my job. I was blessed to have link for food and enough to have gass and when I ran out of money friends and family who gave me money for rides. Did door dash with my friend and now soon starting a new job soon. God always has a way to bless people. ❤

Aww I'm sorry girl! I also got laid off unexpectedly last spring and it just sucks. You're not alone, and you definitely aren't a failure. Make sure you get any files you might need for a future portfolio/resume. Also make sure you apply for unemployment immediately, it's there for exactly this reason so take advantage of it. You will be okay!

My husband got laid off from his job on Friday because the company is failing and because of that he gets no severance and we need his income to pay our bills. So we fully don’t know what is going to happen to us financially. And i’m 6 months pregnant 😅 God has got the both of us and our families and will see us through this❤

The same thing happened to me right before Christmas of 2021. It was a software startup company and I was the only individual on the marketing “team”. Work started slowing down and literally all of the same things happened to me. My MIL was the HR Vice Pres. and she had to deliver the news… literally awful. All of your feelings are valid. I felt like a failure, defeated, etc. Feel all the things and lean into the Lord. He has something so much better for you.❤

Syd I have been in tech for 4 years two different companies through multiple rounds of layoffs, wasn’t let go myself but wanted to let you know - even those who remain, the job isn’t the same or enjoyable. Dont feel badly, this is just a pivot in the right direction. ❤️

The same thing happened when I was the exact same age as you. A company hired me, I collected a ton of money for them that they had not gotten from customers, and they decided--without giving me any hints that they were going to let me go. It's so frustrating and throws you so hard. Especially if you didn't do anything wrong. God's got a perfect plan for you and your husband. Personal story for you…I was laid off unexpectedly early last year and it sucked. It came with a lot of emotions and tears and I got really down on myself for a while but about 6 months later I landed my dream job that I’ve dreamt of since 7th grade and I’m 25 currently. Life works in weird ways and it was a huge challenge that I didn’t think I could handle but it worked out for the best and gave me a new challenge to show myself I could conquer it. You’ll find something else that challenges you and shows you new parts of yourself you got this!

Sydney I love you so much. Let me tell you this. God was definitely preparing you for what happened. Nothing catches him off guard so he was telling you 🫶🏽 also I have diagnosed adhd and I’ve heard you talk about it before idk if it’s confirmed or etc.. but we crave consistency. Life feels complete and whole when you have a schedule and you follow it. And when something like this interrupts basically a lifeline or way of life that’s comfortable it feels like life has been ripped out of you so I feel you so so much. 🫶🏽 Sydney keep going praying for you!!

In regards to sleeping. Put your wireless devices on airplane mode and turn your WiFi off. The electromagnetic frequencies emitted by these devices excite our cells and make it hard for us to calm down. They cause irritability, anxiety, insomnia etc.

I got fired the beginning of last year and 3 months later the Lord gave me a clear answer as to why i was fired. it was so scary for me at first, i felt like i failed everyone, my husband had a full time job and to get used to the adjustment of one income was a struggle. just wait on the Lord, he has great plans in store for you and your husband. Continue to pray for clear answers, and be patient in this season. And remember you are not a failure, the Lord just needs you going in a different direction for now! ❤️🙏🏼

Hey babe! As someone in the tech space, layoffs are happening left and right. The company I work for had 3 layoffs in 2023. It’s absolutely NOT your fault. Them letting you go was a repercussion of the poor decisions leadership made. You are NOT a failure. Take that severance, take some time for yourself, and be excited for the next chapter in your life❤️

The first one hurts. It seems counterintuitive but take a couple of weeks to level set on where you want to go next before you jump back into the job hunt. Looking at your content and I'm confident you can market yourself, and you might need to take something that isn't your dream job. The point is to work toward where you want to be in your career. The next job is simply a steppingstone. Good luck!

1) you weren’t fired you were made redundant, this is not a reflection of you. 2) you’ll get a severance, enjoy it for a week or so then focus on Whatever your next steps are. Do not rush into anything.

highly suggest trying potters house near MSU campus. Great place to work on things like editing as well as studying God’s word. they are a christian coffee shop and Samson and Anne are main people there that genuinely want to know and share a relationship with their customers. God has a plan for you. I’ve been watching your videos since you were in high school.
