Great to have you back DD we had the same thing back in the eighties my dad got pulled on the way home from Coventry speedway about 10 at night for over taking on a double white which we hadn't, no cameras back then my old man got a fine and 3 points for something he hadn't done! Looking forward to the next one already 👍

Massively winds me up when you overtake and its perfectly safe and legal and you get the high beems for half a mile, glad you got it sorted ill keep them in mind

Jack Biggar yeah, the funny thing is you’re meant to let off the throttle and let the overtaking vehicle pass safely, not speed up to block you like most do 🤦🏻‍♂️

Hang on a sec and I missing something? Did that copper say he would ask the driver of the Volvo or whatever it was that you overtook? How did the officer get the details of the car you overtook if he didn’t have a camera in the car or a bodycam????

In my country,(going down a tight bend from the hill) a cop pulled me over for jumping a red light and when he stopped me,I turned back to show him I didnt do it and low and behold a bridge, trees and the the hill blocked his path but somehow he saw me. I defended myself against this ticket and eventually he tells me can I have money for food.I wish I had a camera to nail that piece of 💩

Sup DD, just finished watching the vid, tiz great to see you back on platform bro. First things first - RECORD EVERYTHING when riding on public roads or dealing with da fuzz! If you had footage of the incident Po-po would be in 'check-mate'. As it is you was left in a position where u had to take your medicine, £100 ticket & safety course was the best outcome. Pain in the ass yeah but not the end of the world. @ 6:40 you mentioned the Street Triple accident. I think I saw that on a Moto Madness video recently was at night and think the guy got hurt. He dragged himself off the road but didn't get up. Looks like a bit of a dangerous junction, on a 60mph road or is that a 30?

Depends on how he was riding previous to the incident, our cameras can get us in more trouble than help us out most of the time. I still always have mine on regardless 😎

Dius I guess you deleted your reply for some reason, I am UK btw. The reason that it is a problem is that if you want to use your video footage, you have to give them all of it, not an edited clip or they won't use it in court as proof. The same goes if you want to report a bad/dangerous driver, in that case you have to send in all the footage and give all your details and go to court as a witness if it does go that far. If you're not willing to go to court or give them all the footage they will not pursue it, even if you have their number plate and face clearly showing as well as whatever happened.

Question... If you don't mind, where did you get your license plate mount? I'm in the US and cannot find any aftermarket plate mount that tucks in so nicely as yours.

That's fucked mate, it was probably a sensible decision to just pay the fine. If you can't afford to run a helmet cam, why not run a bike mounted dashcam. Innov make them, it will constantly record and therefore will help in situations like these. They're really compact too so you'll never see it, good to see you're still alive. I'll be coming to the UK soon, not sure when but definitely will happen.

i got done on first ride out after lockdown. mine was unmarked rozzer i overtook on double white, same thing loads of room, a right storm trooper he was. 3pts £100. bollix.!!!

Little dash cam bullet camera front and rear fit and forget. Then you can save your go pro etc for vlogging.

I do all the time, even when not making vids. But the problem is that when something happens and you want to involve the police, they want all the footage, not just the relevant clip, you can then be getting yourself in trouble for other offences if you've been enjoying yourself, as we do.

For the most part the Police do an amazing job but like any organisation you’re going to get that one guy. Years ago I had one pull me over, said I undertook, well yeah the car was turning right. He was a young copper, who basically then proceeded to brag about the advanced speed course he had just done. FFS, he was on a power trip and was bored, so it stroked his ego for me to stand there and listen to the little tosser.

Sorry to hear you've had a bad experience with old bill mate, unfortunately the attitude of the Filth nowadays is to be seen to be taking action, even if there is none, and meet their required monthly quotas. It's why Joe public dislikes them more and more, that combined with the fact they now dont attend actual crime that harm peoples ability to work. I've had 2 negative incidents with them myself (1 of being arrested) and I wouldn't piss on any of them if they were on fire. Keep your camera on and be safe pal.

@@DaytonaDays With my off in 2017, I found the traffic officers brilliant, even told the guy who knocked me off too stop fretting about his beloved merc and have some sympathy for the guy with a trashed bike and severely injured..(me!) lying on the floor. I lost my job and pension as legal team from bennets were appalling.

I got knocked off a few years ago and in court the woman admitted to not checking her blind spot and I still got 50% liability so it’s definitely set up to fuck with riders.

Sometimes its paying a bit of 'lip service' in relation to how much we do get away with. Most of us I'd say are pushing our luck quite often enough, those times when we are hooning about having a blast, it's awesome, (I'm 2010 street triple R btw) but get caught riding like that..your fucked. Annoying cuz you didn't actually overtake, but if 100 quid fine and a speed awareness is the outcome of your overall riding, I'd say you gota take that on the chin mate, i would.
