8 years ago , still a great bike, I rode the 1050 RS the other day, what an amazing bike. Still one of my absolute fav bikes, I love the 1050RS more than the new 1200RS. Such a great balanced bike, and those 150hp and around 120NM torque is so much usable on the street than the new 175 hp 1200RS bike. I think the 1050RS is better in the corners too out on twisty roads 🤘 The 2018 1050RS is even better than this 2016 1050R, it is a bit more powerful, a bit lighter, and just a bit better overall and more refined, such a great bike. I urge people to try out the 2018-2020 Speed Triplle 1050RS , you can find them used now for like 8500€, sooo much bike for the money. Quickshifter up and down, cruise control, everything you need!

Just a quick one for you what tyres are your go to for fast road riding st the moment ? Looking at S22, M7rrs Power 5s for my GSXR but wanted to know what you are running ?

Hey mate, Rosso Corsa Diablo 2, never found a better tyre that warms up quicker. Not the ideal all year tyre though

Did you have any Engine management light issues when installed? I installed one a few days ago, light doesn’t seem to drop out since it’s been installed. Any suggestions for diagnosis?

No EML, just sounds like it needs adjusting? Assuming it’s been installed correctly?

That’s 24k with fork oil change money . I had the same . 6yr ago It cost over £600 for a 2014 675 at a triumph dealer for a 12k service , wouldn’t get a triumph dealer service out of warranty again I don’t believe they did most they changed for The coolant wasn’t changed etc . Next big I had a 24k value check and plugs at a independent. Still within Spec . I believe it’s very rare they need adjusting . Sold that now Point is I bought a 2015 Daytona 15k miles as a 2nd bike it’s never had value check yet . original spark plugs they use long lasting iridium . It will dine at some point.

I have a 899 at the moment im totally inlove with but im seriously considering biying a 2015 daytona 675r in its place. I test rode the daytona and loved it such a fun bike and better than thr ducati in alot of ways but i dont knoe if i can give up the name and the looks of the panigale. If it wasnt for the looks id go for thr daytona

Took the speed r out yesterday. OMG.I haven’t ridden a bike in 6 years.On a bike I’ve never rode before. What a bike.had the tyres over to the edge. Needless to say I bought her😂

Yep I've been using roadtec 01 for nearly 4 years now. And totally agree. You need to keep pressure up. On a tiger 1200 I use 42 rearand 36 front Yep the front is squaring of on mine but rear ok. Great tyres. Great review. I find you have to put 4 to 6 psi more than recommended.
