Lost my mum to breast cancer when I was 35, she was 59. Friends of mine lost their mothers when they were 14 and 18. One to cancer the other to suicide. I was lucky to have her in my life for as long as I did, my friends were not so lucky. But that didn't detract anything from the hole it left in my life. Don't bury anything, talk to the people you love. I hit an all time low four years after the event. Completely caught me unawares. Focus on the people you love, take care of yourself. I wish you well.

Sorry to hear about your Mum mate, lost my Dad last year to Cancer also. It’s a shit show and wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. It’s bloody tough seeing a loved one go through that.

Sympathy and empathy for your loss, my mother died from breast cancer 8 years ago. On another note: I've found that riding without mirrors makes me a more observant rider, you always know what's going on around you.

I lost my Dad in very sad circumstances about 18 months ago. Not a day goes by that I don't miss him. Time heals but it's a slow process. I hope each day get's a little easier for you having lost your Mum.

Hospital is my second home, but mate, I could not imagine going through what you have this year. You're a strong bloke being able to talk about it on video and not choke up, it was emotional enough to watch, be safe mate.

I know 3 people who passed away with cancer and they all chose not to tell anyone till the very end. I think its just a case of not wanting to upset people or have them worried, i dont know... i guess its just a really difficult thing for people to deal with. But yeah, rip mum and congratulations of your kid.
