My friend told me to watch your training videos for motivation and man was he right!!!! I got my bloodwork back today and I am no longer diabetic and back at healthy levels! Thank you for the weekly motivation and because of this I signed up for my first triathalon in November in southern CA. Road to an IRON MAN!!!! THANKS CODY!!! In this past 21 days I’ve worked out 42 times and lost 8 pounds already and I can run a 5k with no breaks now!!! And because of this change I’ve also started working on my clothing brand I’ve dreamt of doing since I was 16!! Thank you for being you Cody for how you push and motivate so many people to change their life’s for the better! Keep doing you brother!!

Glad you’re feeling better and that your COVID infection was quick! Just an FYI, it’s very dangerous for your ears to fly when you’re sick/congested - that’s why your ears were killing you on descent. If it ever happens to you again where you’re sick and need to fly, take Afrin (it’s a nasal spray) about half an hour before takeoff and two Sudafed. It’ll help open your ears up. My ears have trouble popping on planes so I do that regularly when I travel by air, but when you’re sick and flying on a plane you can risk rupturing your eardrum!

Been watching Cody since I was in high school. Loved all of his videos and I have loved seeing him grow. I got so excited when he started making music and am so proud of how he has grown as a DJ. Was so excited when he started Cody Trains and decided to start training with him this summer. And finally this weekend did my first half marathon! I have already signed up for two more and hope to do a marathon in the future. Thank you for keeping me motivated. And thank you for making such good music and podcasts to get me through these hard training days. Energy is everything!

oh my gosh i know exactly which terrible ear/head feeling you're talking about when descending after being sick! it might be the worst acute pain i've ever felt that i can still remember. it's pretty freaking brutal and the only time i've ever had that happen was after swimming a lot on a trip (so some early swimmer's ear-like feelings were already not too distant) and then kind of getting a little congestion-based illness towards the end of the trip on top of that, which together created that feeling you're talking about which i can only describe as acutely unbearable. not a fun time in the least and it kinda just wouldn't fully go away for hours afterwards either which sucked. glad to hear you're feeling better though and hopefully by the next flight it wasn't so bad!

Hey! I just finished my first Ironman last weekend - Ironman Maryland (BIB 1197). Cody has been an inspiration and helped keep me motivated through all the ups and downs of training this year. Cody sharing the less glorious side of training like injury and illness set-backs (like in this video) really helped me not get discouraged when I was dealing with similar problems this summer. Keep it up Cody, we’re all ascending together. Choo-Choo. (P.S. Should I get the Ironman tattoo?)

just found this channel. What a super likeable personality! I just watched all the Ironman training videos. Wish I had these when I was training.
