Calamity also has a hardmode version of the crackshot colt called "Midas Prime" dropped from the pirates, and there is also the marksman rounds that allow you to toss, and shoot coins with any gun if I remember correctly. Also hold shift while hovering over the crackshot colt or midas prime in the inventory.

Here's a fun fact, the melody you heard at 17:00 is Draedon's motif, you'll be hearing this many times in your playthrough, especially because of Infernum

That biome u found is called the Sakura Garden. Its just a fancy little structure added by infernum its ment to spawn in the jungle but i think its generation is bugged atm. It has one secret, u have to find a sakura bud and drop it into the lake in the middle for a very nice vanity item. The bud is found by hitting sakura trees found on the surface, the pink trees that sometimes replace normal ones.

Merg! Quick tip! You might want to collect as many of those "Inactive power cell factories" when a player places them back in the world, they start producing power cells, which you'll need a LOT of in the future, you'll also need to grab 2 of those charging stations, one to use as the charger for some really cool weapons, and another to craft into the "Codebreaker" computer which is useful for decrypting the schematics you find such as the one you found in the planetoid!

Abigail is a summon added from the don’t starve crossover that happened while you were gone, she is a summon that upgrades herself by using the other summon slots you get from armor to increase her damage

1.Hellivators aren't necessary, instead you can build a house for the goblin tinkerer & the mechanic right above the underworld and use pylons for quick travel 2.I think you have all the materials for the GPS, that's gonna help you find the shimmer, it's located somewhere down between the jungle and the ocean 3.The turrets can be destroyed with the pickaxe 4.you should've taken the charging stations & the power cells factories 22:03 ?? 5.Change the armor set bonus key to anything (i use x), it's not good having to press down to activate it and unwillingly dropping down 6.Although it's rare, but the king slime can drop the crown jewel which is a must have especially for later 7.You can sleep to speed up time 8.Yes there's the victide armor, really good for the sunken sea exploration and for the mini boss of that area, gills potions or the ocean crest can help as well. 9.To find the mini boss, All you have to do is open the map once you see the hp bar on screen 10.There's a lab in that area too, you can use the seeking mechanism if it's hard to find 11. 16:19 that's a material for artifacts 12.Buy the Stat meter from the goblin

55:43 stay strong Merg, there's item in early HM that allows you to skip 6 hours per click with no limits. Also you might wanna craft Scourge drops (corals, shells and starfishes with shards) into new material

Loving this newer version of Calamity, crazy how different it is from your first Calamity playthrough. Also I'm loving the Infernum bosses. Glad we're also getting more lore for Calamity, that log you found is probably from Draedon (who I think is an actual boss now). You probably remember a bit of his lore from the last playthrough, he was the one who made the Mechanical bosses, you also used his forge to create the endgame stuff. Can't wait to see what his boss fight is like, although we're a good bit away from it because I think he's post Yharon.

You should check out the planetoids btw, they have lots of ore, if you find the one with platinum itll be enough for a full armor set

A good item idea might be the enchanted sundial. It’s an item that can be obtained through a combination of crafting and fishing, but it’s a magic item that can pass the time of day in increments. Should be quite ideal for the future.

There is actually an upgraded version of the crackshot, you get it in the pirate invasion. (hold shift while hovering over that weapon for a secret!).

There is an drop from the hardmode vanilla event pirate invasion that is an upgrade to the crackshot colt called the midas prime, works effectively the same as the crackshot colt except the fact that it can use silver and gold coins for shooting targets.

Merg, if you right click the bed time will accelerate, not a full skip but considerably shortens the waiting time to a few minutes

Oh, that is one of my favorite guns from the mod. It has a really good upgrade later on

There is indeed an upgraded version of the Crackshot Colt. Its name is Midas Prime and it is a Hard mode weapon. It is dropped from the Pirate crosshairs in the pirate invasion. That means its available immediatley in hardmode but might be hard to defeat the invasion. Also the Midas Prime is the Marksman pistol from Ultrakill. Have fun on your joruney :)

In prehardmode i believe the only way to speed through the day or night is by getting the sundial (skips to the next day) through fishing or the moondial (to get to the next night) by shimmering it, but another alternative is also sleeping on the bed! It's not automatic but speeds it up a bit

small tip, no idea if your aware since im only 10 minutes in the crackshot has a hardmode upgrade called the "midas prime" which can use either gold or silver coins, and obviously the gold does more. also, im not sure if the crackshot does this but the midas has increased damage for the distance between each coin, so its smart to like throw them in many directions then hit one since it auto aims anyways

When hovering over the Crackshot Colt in your inventory with your mouse, hold down shift.

hi! just wanted to put out a few mod suggestions even though the playthrough is still extremely early on, if you want to add on to the already crazy experience that is infernum there are two calamity addon mods called "wrath of the gods" and "hunt of the old god" that add some awesome bosses after supreme calamitas and probably the coolest final boss in modded terraria i've seen. and a little before that some very, very interesting events can happen after you defeat the moon lord so if that interests you i definitely recommend those mods

These videos take a while to release but MAN they're worth it

Merg, when you are fighting bosses which chase you, such as eye, or skeletron, you should always run and jump/fall. This way, your vertical speed will add to the horizontal, and you will be able to outrun it. The same thing with wings - when you get them you should always fly diagonally, and not just run, because it’s faster

The stealth ability's super crit thing works well with the crackshot and 4 copper coins because it deals one big damage compared to minishark's low dmg but lot of bullets

So, little tip, you can speed up time by sleeping in a bed, and if you're up for a fishing grind, you can rarely find sun dials in golden crates, which skip one day per week

Hi merg love the Terraria videos, could you please change the UI scale to make the inventory menu bigger? Its hard to watch from far (when eating for example) too see what items you show. Much love hope you keep the series up!

*the wall of text has awoken!* 2:58 please make sure to not do that again.. you lose your reforge when you craft something using those so if you plan on crafting something soon (and by soon i mean you arent gonna do anything like fight a boss with it) then its best to save your money 7:47 oahhhh that brings back memories from my summoner playthrough. this thing does have a crafting tree but some of the later weapons in it need more than 3 minion slots, that is the maximum possible amount of slots without having any summoner accessories (you need potions for the other 2). stick to traditional minions is my advice 2:58 never used the pre-hardmode version, but seems pretty *crack* -ed to me. heh. *ALSO the hardmode version shoots out gold coins, its dropped by the pirate invasion. also make sure to hold SHIFT (the left one) while looking at its description for an easter egg!* 15:43 you can. just mine them with a pickaxe 16:48 ok ok ok i can see your having some trouble with these things, let me sum it up. basically some robot guy put all these labs everywhere and like you need to find them to make a machine that summons him. you shouldent worry about it too much as he is fought as the final boss/ pre final boss. make sure to grab the power cell factories please just place them down and forget about them as they produce 10000 batteries 19:18 thats the robot guy doing all this. 19:58 quick thing explaining who "yharim" is hes like the king of the world, hes planned to be the final boss of calamity but isnt added yet. he has ties to the final bosses in the lore. the devourer of gods is that purple snake you fought 6 years ago idk but thats basically explaining that robot man made its purple armor 20:38 exactly! good. your starting to figure out the lore on yourself. 23:01 thats what ive been telling you to look for. free life crystal 23:52 havent seen that structure before. probably from one of your mods that are like "calamity but cooler" 26:15 thats definitely some sort of meme put in by the developers 37:15 desert scourge really is that easy. thats why i use him as a money farm. any good weapon from pre-boss and you can cut through him like butter. nevermind. vultures!!!!!!!!!!! 42:15 desert scourge ai likes bouncing up and down when your far away from him 49:10 basically an explanation for whats happening: one of yharim's operations was burning the big lake in the middle of the world. desert scourge lived there eating little things but when it got destroyed he ate the people who lived down there 55:26 the final dashes there were in rage mode, i can see by the increased speed and length 55:57 dont worry, your wishes will come true, you just gotta beat pre-hardmode then you'l have access to it. -- what next? -- honestly, i dont really have much to say. if you feel like your defense is lacking id suggest ditching the ranger armor as most of the pre-hardmode class armors arent better than the ore armors. last thing, try getting to the bottom of the desert as you can fight a miniboss there

Switching between vanilla cal boss music and Infernum boss music would be nice since they both deserve to be listened to equally, also vanilla hardmode bosses all have Infernum themes only because vanilla calamity music is a work in progress still

It still feels surreal tha Merg is playing through modern Calamity, that's something I've wished to see for ages since the first series, and is now happening, so many insane things are yet to happen! This is probably the coolest weapon, now I need to make it, I wish it had more late game evolutions, like the alt revolver or something The goblin tinkerer reforging re-work is one of the best blessings Calamity has granted to us Terraria fans You can destroy those turrets by mining them with a pickaxe Abigail gets stronger the more minion slots you use on her, gotta spend 50k on those minion slots That Underground Oasis is incredibly helpful, and you were talking about getting special dyes earlier too, very convenient lol

I believe there is actually an item you can buy or craft in Calamity that allows you to switch between Day and Night cicles at will. I don't remember which one it is or how to get it, but I definitely remember seeing another youtuber using it in a multiplayer Calamity run

I recommend a simple mod called ”boss cursor” It doesny add any content, it just shows the direction of the boss like how on the edges off the screen, but it puts it around the player so its easier to track

Merg, you should definitely try getting more gear to explore the Sulphureous sea, in mid-pre hardmode. Totally worth it and its like the best biome in calamity. Also it would be funny to see you get freaked out by the siren or the aquatic scourge swimming around lol.

You should pickup those power cell factories as early as you can and place them somewhere they will start making power cells slowly and if you do it early enough you won’t need to wait for a specific amount when you need them.

3 things for ya, 1. you should get the mod called "What Mod Is This From" (yes that is the actual name) it makes you able to see whats modded and whats not 2. you should get the Craftable Calamity Items mod, it helps you out with getting rare items 3. you are going to enjoy the Midas Prime gun in hardmode, its an indirect upgrade to the crackshot colt

After finishing inferfum you should check out "wrath of gods" addon to infernum/calamity, it adds one of the best bosses in modded terraria as a final Superboss which i LOVED fighting

The abagail flower (and the first painting) are reference to the game don't starve

if you want more damage with your ranged weapons try getting Luxor's Gift its found in a shrine in the underground desert it will also enhance other class type weapons

what texture packs do you use? also rly good content :P

Are you still using the recipe browser mod from your last calamity playthrough? If your not I highly recommend it even if you've played through calamity before. also one more is calamity vanities mod I also recommend, its a mod that adds more vanity, mounts and pets to the game either dropped by bosses or crafted and doesn't alter the gameplay in any way. I hope you'll take my suggestions into consideration :)

There is an upgrade for this weapon in Hardmode, i dont remember how you got it though, its called Midas Prime and it has a cool easter egg. If you name yourself V1 it plays like half a second of the Minos Prime theme every time you hit a coin.

I was wondering if you'd return to the world of Terraria, things are very different now, I hope you are ready for true Calamity. (RP aside, I was overjoyed to see you play this again, so I figured I'd bring out this account again, my calamity knowledge is quite outdated now, I've stayed more or less in the dark about it since Merg's origianlly playthrough as I didn't what to spoil it as I knew he would eventually play it again)
