A game where I got into the perfect position with my evening coffee: the blank seat of the severely damaged side against a designated skilled pair (didn't mean my partner was an amateur--teams often use a code of card signaling and that's a massive leverage).
The game was set to no board bid, overbooks count on hands with or without a Nil bid and no blind bids were allowed (not to mention back, very close to my favorite settings).
Jumping through a number of hoops for an miraculous comeback, our team almost tied their score towards the end: Gwenny was unfortunately dealt quite a trifle hand with four spades including the King. Now what? Time to bid one of the most epic Nils in the history of spades. Gwenny isn't the kind of a player to bid a submissive 1 and to cheap-offer the game even before the last round being played. With the Nil sinking with overloaded trumps, opponents sealed their victory by some 125 margin (losing by 125 is no different than losing from one bag). GGA!
