i don't know if i want to fault the game or my brain on this, though blaming something in a game for being too fun is not an insult

Playing Dionysus is exactly like a party: move around and mingling a lot, forget about half of the people that are there, suddenly realize the party's dying and you have to deal with that guy that thinks he's rallied but just tackled the trash can.

Within the past week i got my 2nd and 3rd ever 32 heat clears with an Achilles ice wine build and an eris rail hangover build with cluster bomb and splitting headache and low tolerance and arty special for bog crits. Dio is fun

It’s more the amount of Dmg you can give if you bring Dionysus. That and he fits in almost EVERYTHING BUILD WISE. Doing an Ares or Artemis run? Get Dionysus for even more damage. Doing a Demeter run? Get Dio fucking nysus. I’m saying this since he is also a guy I can’t not leave out of my builds.

I agree although most of the god's boons are situation based. However, Dionysus ' attack boon combined with the Lucifer Adamant Rail is broken.

let me sway you in the other way: there are rooms where you get 2 boons at once, you pick one and the god behind the other will harass you for the fight, then give you the boon after you're done so dionysus is the easiest to deal with in those scenarions, as his effects barely do anything

Agreed. Personally, I say Aphrodite is not to be fucked with. That heart comes outta nowhere, is fast as hell, tracks for days and leaves you stunned for seconds. I never mess with her.

Demeters cast+ Artemis duo boon makes it so i dont even have to attack anyone just spam beams.

If you take Stygian Soul and get lucky with your Hermes and Chaos boons it gets insane real quick, so much fun when the rng is in your favor.

Imagine being a god and being able to be high and/or drunk on super-powered substances forever with no consequences, I’d be pretty happy and easy to get along with too😂😂
