Me and the boys have been hitting the Jetty everyday. Mornings and Evenings. Before and After Work. We have been trying to find and catch our favorite fish.. JACKS! Maaaaayn the real hero here is Chris! Ol'boy risked it for the biscuit! Gave it his all to not slip, net the fish, and come out alive! Next time, make sure he wears glasses, I've seen a situation, exactly like yours, but the fish spit the hook out while in a lot of tension hook went straight into the netters upper cheek, below the eye. Glad this one was a success! Congrats!

Wow that's awesome. Never seen a ling/cobia caught from the jetties. I heard that someone caught one from the Galveston fishing pier recently but I can't corroborate that.

I've never seen that at the jetties. Amazing catch, makes me want to go offshore, which I'm hoping to do this summer. You guys just became history!
