It's not on tactics, it's squad quality, squad depth and desire from our players. Tactics don't work if players don't work hard enough for them to work. Ten Hag is the scapegoat time and time again. I have watched football in-depth for over 30 years, not just United. But watch as many leagues as possible. Even the very best managers decisions get questioned. It doesn't mean they should be sacked.

You’ve just summed up the whole team and the season in a nutshell. We need to stop buying expensive players that don’t deliver, there’s not enough quality in the squad to rest players without weakening the team. The only thing they’re consistent at is letting teams come back level when we get the lead and they end up taking the lead! There’s a hell of a lot of work to be done to turn this club around!

ETH is not good enough, no identity and no project and what you see on the pitch is as a result of poor ten rag tactics. This whole saga started as soon as the leeching glazers arrived, the rot start even when ferguson was in charge. We havent had any top players but rather has beens or sub standard players , for premiership like rashford, onana, mason, anthony and injury proners like shaw, and half of our centre backs. We havent had any decent midfield since Keen left. One decent player doesnt constitute a solid midfield.

We knew all of this for a number of years now. It's nothing new and won't change until the squad is ripped apart and rebuilt properly, which may not even happen under Ineos. It's the same old story almost every game. You could see it when Antony scores, the celebrations, the body language and look on some of the players faces looks like it's "job done!" before they inevitibly can't see the game out. When we finally get a breakthrough against Burnley at home the celebrations should be almost non existent. Go and pick the ball up out of the net, no stupid over the top celebrating and get back and ready for the kick off. Remind eachother it's 1 goal and you need to be professional and be even more concentrated now. Show leadership and take control. Instead we struggle, huff and puff to get our noses in front in a game and then automatically take our foot off the pedal and let it slip. We're such an awful, awful side from a mental point of view, let alone the way we play football. I gave up caring about this squad a long time ago now. Barely celebrated the goals and win over Liverpool in the FA Cup the other week because I don't feel anything for this squad and club at the moment. How bad is that?

You have been harping about Anthony, £85m but just ignore poor game of Marcus. Atleast Anthony tracks back and looks energetic. Now coming to your Manager situation. Pep came in, looked at the squad got rid of most of them and then brought his own GK, RB, LB, RCB, LCB, CM, RW, LW, DM, AM, ST. Of course not in single window but within 3 windows. Only Kompany and KDB survived. Even he had bad singings like Bravo, Kevin Philips. Same with Klopp, Arteta, Emery. What about ETH? 4 windows and 6 to 8 players signed, one youngster in Hojlund and other is Anthony. Casemiro is not his signing but the expectation is he plays attractive football with great results and make these useless players like Maguire, McTominay, Sancho, Rashford, Martial, Shaw, AWB etc look great. How many chances are given to these players? Instead of going at the manager go against the players since there is no good manager out there who wants to work with Man United. The ones like Tuchel are not great since he was not able to work with talents in PSG n Chelsea. His achievement of CL was more down to luck and more to work done by previous manager n recruitment team. Even Carlo failed at Everton because of same issues but look at him in Madrid.
